TMZ.COM is reporting that the basis of Hulk Hogan’s $50 million lawsuit against Laser Spine Institute of Florida is that the surgeries prevented him from wrestling against John Cena at WrestleMania and that’s how the figure was cooked up.
Hogan’s attorneys said that he had a “phase out contract” opportunity which included a match against John Cena which was supposed to wrap up his wrestling career. However, the multiple surgeries which were suggested by LSI halted everything.
The match and appearance opportunities before and after the event was worth $50 million according to Hogan’s contract claim.
There has been no response from Laser Spine Institute yet regarding the lawsuit.

Eve Torres decided to wrap up her wrestling career – at least for now – with her final match yesterday on RAW, putting over Kaitlyn and losing her Divas title in the process.
Reports suggest that Eve made up her mind a while ago about leaving WWE and was ready to wait it out until the best opportunity to pass the title to someone else. With Kaitlyn being from Texas, the best time was apparently yesterday.
Eve started her WWE career in 2007 where she was a contestant – and eventually won – the Diva Search competition. After being sent to FCW to train, she made her official debut in February of next year on Smackdown.
Her five year WWE journey resulted in three Divas title reigns as well as the “assistant” to the GM of both RAW and Smackdown.
Torres is a spokeswoman and instructor at the Gracie Woemn Empowered program and she is engaged to Rener Gracie of the famous Gracie MMA family.
It all started in 1993, and 20 years later, Monday Night RAW is still going strong as tonight WWE will celebrate another important milestone for their flagship show 20 years in the making!
This past July RAW hit the 1,000th episode with a show that featured returns and surprises and while this show might not be as big in terms of former Superstars returning, the 20th anniversary episode will definitely be a special one regardless.
One of the highlights for tonight’s show will be the Rock Concert with the recently returned Rock getting back with his guitar to entertain the millions. This time it won’t be John Cena in his path but WWE champion CM Punk.
Kane and Daniel Bryan have been tag team champions for a while now and tonight Dr. Shelby, the man who brought them together, will be having his four month “follow up.”
The Divas title will also be on the line as current champion Eve Torres defends against NXT season 3 winner Kaitlyn.
A lot has not been announced for RAW and with the show being in Texas, who knows, maybe some famous former WWE Superstars who are residents in the state will be dropping by!
King Kong Bundy wrote on Twitter that there will be a huge announcement tonight regarding his Hall of Fame, suggesting that he will be the second person to be announced as an inductee following Mick Foley.
“Sounds like someone listened to the #Bundyholics regarding my Hall of Fame,” Bundy said.
The 55 year old New Jersey native hasn’t wrestled in over six years however he keeps busy appearing at conventions. Bundy started his WWE career in 1985 and was part of the first ever WrestleMania where he defeated SD Jones in nine seconds.
His biggest moment came at WrestleMania 2 where he headlined the show against Hulk Hogan in a steel cage match, a match which Hogan won to keep the WWE title.
After leaving the WWF in 1988, he returned in 1994 as part of the Million Dollar Corporation but left a year later.
The Tampa Bay Times is reporting that Hulk Hogan filed a lawsuit against the Tampa-based Laser Spine Institute, saying the clinic performed unnecessary surgeries that damaged his career.
The lawsuit was filed Monday morning in Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Court and it seeks damages of $50 million. In addition to claiming unnecessary surgeries, the lawsuit also says the Laser Spine Institute used an endorsement from Hogan without permission or payment.
The attorneys for the Hulkster said that there was negligent conduct on the part of the company that resulted in past and future income of approximately $50 million. They claim that after numerous prominent spine surgeons recommended traditional spinal surgery for Hogan, Spine Institute advised him that that kind of surgery would effectively end his career.

This month CLEAR will have presence at WWE events in Los Angeles, Sacramento and Las Vegas.
Here are the results from last night’s Genesis 2013 pay-per-view which took place at the IMPACT Wrestling Zone at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez defeated Matt Morgan and Joey Ryan to retain the Tag Team titles; Mr. Anderson defeated Samoa Joe; Christian York defeated Kenny King to become the #1 contender for the X Division title; Rob Van Dam defeated Christian York to retain the X Division title; Devon defeated Joseph Park; Velvet Sky defeated ODB, Mickie James, Gail Kim, and Miss Tessmacher in a gauntlet match to become the #1 contender for the Knockout title; Christopher Daniels defeated James Storm to get a World title match; Sting defeated Doc from Aces & Eights; Jeff Hardy defeated Bobby Roode and Austin Aries in a triple threat match to retain the TNA World title.
In the first match up of the main card on Strikeforce’s final event Jacre Souza took on UFC fighter and TUF 3 alum Ed Herman in a catch-weight bout at 194 pounds.
Jacre used some precise striking to set up a take down. they were reset on their feet after Herman was warned for up kicking a downed opponent. Once Jacre got him down again he quickly locked in a kimura and Herman taps out at 3:10 of round 1. Rolondo “Jacre” Souza does his last alligator crawl across the cage for the Strikeforce fans in Oklahoma City.
Former Strikeforce and Dream light heavyweight champion “The Dreamcatcher” Gegard Mousasi took on the powerhouse Mike Kyle.
Just over a minute into the fight Mousasi gets the take down and as Kyle allows Mousasi move into half guard so he can try to get up. Mousasi starts working the short elbows that splits the head of Kyle. Mousasi moves to the mount and postures up. Mousasi rains down punches and Kyle gives up his back and Mousasi locks in the rear naked choke to get the tap out at 4:09 of round number 1.
Nandor Guelmino stepped up to the challenge and took on long time heavyweight veteran and former UFC heavyweight champion Josh “The War Master” Barnett.
The sambo fighter Barnett gets the quick tie up and take down. Barnett tried for a leg lock and Guelmino uses the opportunity to get to his feet but can get no space before Barnett latches back on and drags him to the mat and ends up in the mount. Barnett locks in the arm triangle from the mount and Guelmino taps out 2:11 the first round. That moves Barnett’s record to 32-6 with 20 wins coming by way of submission. Barnett gives his classic pro-wrestling style interview after the fight and calls the other heavyweights cowards and tells them to run because he is going to take all their heads.
Dion “The Soldier” Staring, who is an Afghanistan war veteran, stepped up to the plate to face the two time Olympic wrestler, the Strikeforce Grand Prix Champion and undefeated Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier.
Cormier was making his return to Oklahoma were he was an Oklahoma State All-American wrestler. Staring has Alistar Overeem in his corner who Cormier replaced in the grand prix tournament. Cormier showed some thudding kicks early in the fight before Staring tried to tie him up. Cormier doesn’t mind and gets a huge throw and is now in side control. Cormier delivers some short elbows before Staring is able to get to his feet. Cormier lands a big right hand and left that has Staring hurt and Cormier takes the fight back to the ground. Cormier from side control works the short elbows again and knocks out the mouth piece of Staring got up long enough for McCarthy to pause the action and get the mouth piece back in. Cormier takes the fight back to the mat and delivers more big elbows and punches but Staring is able to survive the round.
Staring ties up Cormier in the second and Cormier puts him back on the mat. Cormier with more short elbows until Staring rolls over and Cormier has to switch to punches. McCarthy has seen enough after Cormeir spends the almost the next three minutes punching a turtled up Staring. Cormier walks over after the fight and tells Staring he is “tough as shit.” Nice sentiment but when the highlight for your night is the fact that you were able to keep from getting knocked out it still isn’t a good day at the office. Winner by TKO at 4:02 of round 2 Daniel Cormier. On April 20th on FOX Daniel Cormier wants Frank Mir and than he is going to let Jon Jones defend is belt on the 27th of April then kick his ass in the fall to a loud eruption from the crowd.
In the main event former UFC title middleweight title challenger and Strikeforce Welterweight Champion Nate “The Great” Marquardt was unable to successfully defend his belt in his first try against Team Quest fighter Tarec “Sponge” Saffiedine.
The first round was Marquardt walking him down and Saffiedine punishing the lead leg with kicks. Marquardt tried to rush in and ate a straight that dropped him. Marquardt tries for a take down Saffiedine defends but Marquardts head is clear now and he is back to pushing the action. Saffiedine side steps a punch and they are tied up on the fence. They trade knees and positions as they jockey for the take down.
The story of this fight was all about Saffiedine punishing the lead leg of Marquardt and defending take downs. Saffiedine showed some great take down defense that he has acquired under the tutelage of Dan Henderson at Team Quest. Saffiedine’s strikes were crisp tonight and a counter right straight had dropped Marquardt in the first round. It didn’t matter that Marquardt was the bigger stronger man becuase Saffiedine used his quickness and technical striking to take this fight. Saffiedine went over and over to the lead leg that looked punished at the end of the first round as the fight progressed Saffiedine pounded away on both sides of that leg over and over. By the close of round three Marquardt’s mouth was hanging open and his left thigh is showing the visible signs of broken blood vessels under the skin.
Round 4 and Marquardt takes a couple more kicks to that leg and it is buckling with eat shot. Pat Militech and Frank Shamrock are commenting on how bad that leg is. Marquardt tried to make a final push looking for the finish with the hay makers. Marquardt tried to tie up Saffiedine with the clinches and Saffiedine would drive his heel down into the mangled thigh of Marquardt. Marquardt also was busted open in the fourth round above the left eye but you can’t stop looking at that leg. The fifth round was nothing different Saffiedine punishing the leg and landing clean shots down the middle. Saffiedine got his own take down with a minute left and dropped big punches and elbows all the way till the final horn sounded. Tarec “The Sponge” Saffiedine received scores 48-47, 49-46, and 49-26 to go down in history as the final Strikeforce Welterweight Champion. Saffiedine started out on the Strikeforce Challengers series and worked his way up to get a championship shot and made the most of it.
Scott Coker the president and founder of Strikeforce started the promotion in 1985 as a kickboxing organization. He admitted it being tough closing the doors but is proud of the all the fighters and what they have done. Coker also thanked Showtime for giving them the opportunity to bring their events to more people and will be indebted to them.
Last night Strikeforce held its final event with a stacked card of their most notable fighters. The evening was started out off as a representative of MMA’s royal family Roger Gracie faced off against Anthony Smith in a middleweight affair.
The first round was all Smith striking and avoiding getting taken down by Gracie. Once Gracie got the fight to the ground about two minutes into the second round it was the beginning of the end as Gracie who trains with the Blackhouse gym in Brazil masterfully moved from position to position till he had the mount. Gracie delivered one short elbow from the top that split open Smith’s head before he locked in the arm triangle and maneuvered to the side giving Smith no option but to tap or go to sleep. Smith taps at 3:16 of round two to end the first fight.
Was to be lightweight title challenger Pat “Bam Bam” Healy versus Gilbert Milendez tonight but the Strikeforce 155 champ had to pull out due to an injury. Healy ended up taking home the unanimous decision ( 29-28, 30-27×2) versus a very game short notice opponent in Kurt Holobaugh.
Holobaugh, a true 145er, stepped up in weight for this match. Holobaugh right out the gate showed he had nothing to lose and was looking to swing for the fences. The fight started off with the two men just trading big punches. Healy got the first take down 2 minutes into the fight and would spend most of the fight glued to Holobaugh never giving him any space. Holobaugh never gave up though; constantly threatening one submission after another and defending against a some deep spots Healy had him in. Overall good fight from the two Healy showed he is that grinder that was next up for a shot at the champ. Holobaugh with the loss moves to 9-1 now with 8 submission victories and should be a very fun fighter to watch in the featherweight division hopefully for the UFC.
Trevor Smith faced off against former training partner, two-time title challenger and US Green Beret Tim Kennedy in the next match.
Smith from the beginning wanted to put Kennedy on his back and worked hard at it going for ten take downs over the course of the fight. Kennedy did a good job at defending most of them either via sprawl, some nice one legged balancing or knees to the body and uppercuts to the head as he came in. On the occasions Kennedy did get taken down he was pounding away from the bottom and quickly working his way back to his feet. Beginning of the third round Smith was clearly gassed he tried to stand and trade with Kennedy for about the first minute of round three but then shot in for a single and left his neck out for Kennedy to latch on to. Kennedy pulled the left elbow up high and sank the choke in. Smith tapped to the guillotine at 1:36 of round number three.
In the final prelim match up the boxing veteran KJ Noons met up against the son of UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture, Ryan Couture.
The 5-1 Ryan Couture has grown into a well rounded fighter before our eyes under the Strikeforce banner over the last few years. While KJ Noons picked his shots carefully in round one Couture stayed busy mixing up his stances and punches. Couture worked the wide variety of kicks. Noons with nice counter straight and Couture mixes with a head kick but lands a heel kick immediately after to the chest that sends Noons against the fence Noons springs off the fence and lands a short left that drops Couture and he swarms forward to go for the kill as the horn sounds. In the second round they are warmed up and taking turns going for the kill Noons gets busted open with an accidental head butt then Noons gets dropped by a short left. Couture comes forward and gets rocked by a series of shots from Noons. Couture spends the next minute circling and covering up but never goes down. Couture clears the cobb webbs and is able to hurt Noons with a knee. What an insane round and trade of striking. The fans are on their feet going nuts for these two at the end of the second round. In the third round it was Couture pressing the action coming forward with the punches and kicks to send close fight great fight to the judges for a decision. Ryan Couture takes home the split decision 29-28, 27-30, 29-28.

In addition of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, former WWE champion Mick Foley will be having his own Blu-Ray and DVD released.
Titled ‘For All Mankind – Life & Career of Mick Foley,’ the three disc DVD and two disc Blu-Ray will feature the usual sit-down documentary which will occupy the first hour or more of the footage followed by several matches from his career.
This release is scheduled to be out in stores and online on April 16.

It was a DX reunion earlier this week at the Full Sail University as Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kevin Nash, Billy Gunn, and X-Pac appeared together in front of the crowd at the NXT tapings.
HBK took the stage first, followed by Triple H. Fans started chanting for Kevin Nash, who slowly came out to the ring as well. The DX theme song kicked in and X-Pac and Billy Gunn walked out much to the delight of the crowd.
Just like what happened at the RAW 1,000th episode, Damien Sandow interrupted the festivities and accused all of them of attacking him last time he was in the ring with them last year.
Triple H, on behalf of the nWo, DX, and the Outlaws, apologized to Sandow, shook his hand, and told him to show off in front of them and do his cartwheel.
Sandow removed his robe and proceeded to do his cartwheel but as soon as he landed back on his feet and turned around, he was met with Shawn Michaels’ Sweet Chin Music to end the segment.
Two items have been confirmed for this Monday’s 20th anniversary celebration of Monday Night RAW.
The first one is a match for the WWE Divas title as Eve Torres defend her strap against number one contender Kaitlyn.
The second is something which is guaranteed to get some laughs from the crowd – a Rock concert featuring The Rock! This will be his third Rock concert, with his first one performed just before WrestleMania XIX in Sacramento, and his second in March of last year in Cleveland.

WWE.COM officially announced Mick Foley as the first inductee to the Hall of Fame class of 2013 just moments ago.
The plan was to announce the first inductee on Monday during RAW but a story published on the New York Post today seems to have expedited the process.
Foley made his wrestling debut in 1983 and in 1991 moved to World Championship Wrestling under the name of Cactus Jack. He remained in WCW until 1994 where he had feuds with Sting, Paul Orndorff, Vader, and others.
In 1994, he jumped to ECW, then shortly to Smokey Mountain Wrestling, before heading to Japan.
In 1996, Mick Foley signed for the WWE and wrestled as Mankind, Dude Love, and Cactus Jack where he became the WWE champion twice. He stayed in WWE until retiring in 2000. He took the Commissioner role that year but left in 2001.
Foley appeared for WWE several times between 2003 and 2008 and even took the role of a color commentator for Smackdown. Unfortunately he didn’t appreciate Vince McMahon screaming in his ear too much and decided to leave WWE once again.
Later in 2008, Foley joined TNA Wrestling where he stayed there till 2011, before returning to WWE at the end of that same year.
Foley won the WCW tag team title once with Kevin Sullivan, the ECW tag team title twice with Mikey Whipwreck, the WWE title three times, the Hardcore title once, and the WWE tag team titles on eight different occasions, once with Steve Austin, once with Chainsaw Charlie, twice with Kane, once with Al Snow, and twice with The Rock. In TNA, he won the Legends title and the World Heavyweight title both on a single occasion.
Smackdown tonight will be a must-see show as there is one big surprise as well The Rock returns home, literally, and figuratively.
Smackdown was taped this past Tuesday from Miami, Florida, the home town of former WWE champion The Rock. The show – named after one of The Rock’s famous catchphrases – will welcome Miami’s favorite back for the first time since he left WWE in 2003.
During his WWE TV appearances over the past year, The Rock has only visited RAW but this time around he is almost working on a full-time basis up until WrestleMania, appearing on both shows when necessary, giving the blue brand what is hoped to be an extra push in terms of viewing figures.
The New York Post is running a story announcing that Mick Foley will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, the night before WrestleMania 29 in Madison Square Garden.
WWE has not made the official announcement yet and is expected to reveal the first person to be inducted on Monday during the 20th anniversary of RAW.
Foley has often said that it would be a dream to be inducted in the Hall of Fame in Madison Square Garden, which is considered to be the “mecca” for professional wrestling.
Tickets for the show has been on a pre-sale for around two weeks and they will go on sale to the general public tomorrow, Saturday, January 12, at Ticketmaster.com.
So far the Hall of Fame is the only WWE event to be held in New York during the WrestleMania 29 weekend.
PWInsider.com is reporting that Tyson Kidd torn his ACL and fractured his knee late last month and will be out of action for up to a year.
The 32 year old Calgary native hasn’t been used much on the RAW and Smackdown television shows but has been getting his airtime on the other “less-important” television shows during the week.
He last wrestled on pay-per-view at the Survivor Series where he teamed up with Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, Brodus Clay and his tag team partner Justin Gabriel to take on Primo, Epico, Tensai, Darren Young, and Titus O’Neil.
TNA Wrestling announced a major overhaul to their pay-per-view business this week which will cut the ten remaining pay-per-views to just four a year.
The major shows that survived the cut include Genesis in January, Lockdown in March, Slammiversary in June, and Bound For Glory in October. The rest of the TNA pay-per-views have all been ditched.
The removal of the other pay-per-views leads to 3 hours of less programming every month for international distributors however TNA will be taping three hour specials that will air in the overseas market and as well in the USA on pay-per-view for a lower price.
These specials will be titled One Night Only and will debut in April of this year and will continue every month for the rest of the year for $20 less than the other pay-per-views.
“The Pay-Per-View industry has changed so much in the last decade,” said TNA President Dixie Carter. “The traditional pay-per-view wrestling model needed to evolve and we believe this strategy will positively impact not only the Pay-Per-View events but the weekly television programming as well.”
After the traditional TNA recap, Sting is the first person to make his way to the ring, and he’s accompanied by Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle.
Sting says he made his return on the 13th just like he said he would, and now he wants to fight DOC at the Genesis Pay Per View this Sunday. Sting says he’s just getting started, and has the support of the “shooter” and the “killer” (Angle and Joe.)
The crowd starts chanting for Joe and Joe promises to beat up and choke out anyone in Aces and Eights. Angle grabs the mic next and the crowd starts chanting for Angle. Angle promises to continue unmasking more members of Aces and Eights until they are all unmasked. Angle unmasked Mike Knox last week.
This week, Angle wants to call out Ken Anderson, the man that has been recruited by Aces and Eights recently. Anderson comes out the ring and he’s mad. Anderson reminds them that a couple months ago he was supposed to tag with Sting and got beat down in the back by Aces and Eights, and no one came to help him, not even his partner, Sting.
Sting says nothing, and Anderson continues speaking to Angle, telling him he doesn’t answer to him, and he never liked him. Angle says it’s mutual, and then punches him in the face. Anderson falls out to the floor and walks away.

Match #1: X division title tournament. Kenny King versus Zema Ion.
The two men lock up and King lands several strikes. King knocks Zema to the floor with a kick and tries a corkscrew dive to the floor, but Zema gets out of the way. Zema re enters the ring and then flips back out onto King.
Zema rolls King back into the ring, and King hits Ion with a big spin kick. King mounts and pounds Zema. King slams Zema into the corner and hits him with an elbow. Zema grabs King’s head and snaps his neck down on the top rope and follows up with a DDT.
King tries his finishing move, the Royal Flush, but Zema reverses it and rolls King up for a 2 count. Zema hits King with a suplex and then climbs to the top rope. Zema goes for a 450 splash but King rolls out of the way. King hits Zema with the Royal flush for the win.
In the back, Robbie E and Robbie T are talking, and Robbie E sounds sad. Robbie E is upset that the Jersey Shore was canceled, and he’s sad that he lost the bro-off to Robbie T recently, and now he has to find a female wrestler to team with him for a mixed tag match.
Robbie asks Miss Tessmacher, but she is disgusted by him. Robbie says he’ll do anything, and Tessmacher agrees, but only if she gets to tag with Robbie T instead.

When we return, we see Joe Park leaving wrestling school, preparing to return to TNA as a wrestler. He walks into the door on his way out.
Match #2: Robbie T and Miss Tessmacher versus Tara and Jesse.
Jesse and Robbie T start things off and Jesse can’t move big Rob. Robbie throws Jesse around easily until Jesse tags Tara in. Tara and Tessmacher square off. Miss Tessmacher hits Tara with a couple clotheslines and then hits her in the face repeatedly with her vagina, then repeatedly hits her in the face with her ass.
I’m not making this crap up. This is not wrestling, it’s soft core porn. I’m sure lots of people are turned on by it, but it’s kind of stupid and makes no sense. Vaginal and anal tissues are soft; at least that’s what I’ve heard.
Tara tags in Big Rob and Robbie grabs Jesse by the throat, kicks him, and powerbombs him for the win. After the match, Tessmacher and Robbie T dance and make out. Tessmacher lays on the ground swooning as Robbie E looks on in disbelief.

Match #3: Gut Check match.
This will be the first Gut Check match in which both competitors (Jay Bradley and Brian Cage) will be competing against each other instead of an established star. The two men lock up and push each other around the cage and exchange go-behind attempts.
Cage takes Bradley down first, but Bradley reverse and tries to roll Cage up. Cage puts Bradley in a headlock and Bradley escapes. The two men trade punches and forearm shots. Cage lands a European uppercut and Bradley responds with boot to the face.
Bradley stomps on cage and hits him with an elbow to the head. Bradley bodyslams Cage and then drops the knee on him. Bradley looks to be setting Cage up for a clothesline, but Cage lands a dropkick first that sends Bradley out to the floor.
Cage climbs onto the second rope, away from the turnbuckle, and slingshot suplexes Bradley back into the ring. Cage misses a discuss clothesline and Bradley hits him with a big lariat for the win.
Back at the Aces and Eights clubhouse, everyone is having fun except Ken Anderson. Anderson is mad that Angle hit him and he wants payback. The boss agrees, but says they have something else to take care of first.
The boss asks Mike Knox if he has anything to say for himself after allowing himself to be unmasked. The boss also tells Knox that he has to re-earn his spot in the club after getting unmasked, just like Doc did.

Joe Park makes his way to the ring to call out Hulk Hogan. Park tells Hogan that he’s finished wrestling school and now wants a match with Aces and Eights. Hogan still doesn’t want to give him a match because he’s still too green. (or a “Green Hornet” in Park’s words.)
Park persists and Hogan finally agrees to let him have a match against Aces and Eights member Devon at Genesis. Joe is glad.
Brooke Hogan interrupts her father on the big screen. Brooke says that she has been trying to get in touch with her dad for days but he won’t return her messages. Brooke wants to know if Hulk is going to reinstate her boyfriend Bully Ray.
Hogan says no, angrily, and leaves. Brooke looks sad. Sort of anyway, she’s not a great actress.
In the back, Austin Aries and Bobby Roode are arguing about what they are going to wear and who is the better wrestler. Aries says they should put aside their differences because they could be a dream team, or maybe even a wet dream team, in Aries words.

Match #4: Austin Aries and Bobby Roode versus Jeff Hardy and James Storm.
Roode comes out first wearing his robe, and Aries comes out next wearing his shirt and cape. Storm and Hardy come to the ring next. Roode and hardy start the match off and lock up. Roode puts Hardy in a headlock and Hardy escapes.
Roode puts hardy back in the headlock and then shoulder blocks him to the mat. Hardy hits Roode with a hip toss and a shoulder block. Roode tags in Aries and they argue while tagging. Aries takes Hardy down and rotates on top of him and then applies a front chancery.
Hardy punches Aries and then hits him with a hurricanrana. Hardy hits Aries with an inverted atomic drop, and when Roode runs in to help, he hits Roode with an atomic drop as well. Storm and Hardy double team Aries and hit him with poetry in motion. Aries rolls out to the floor where he and Roode start shoving each other.

When we return Hardy and Roode are the legal men, and Hardy hits Roode with an elbow. Hardy climbs to the top rope but Roode knocks him off and stomps on him. Aries tags himself in and hits Hardy, jumps on his leg, and puts him in a front chancery.
Aries tags in Roode and hardy takes Roode down with a sunset flip. Hardy goes for a pin but the ref was distracted by Aries. Roode tags in Aries and Aries lands an elbow and a knee to the head, then tags Roode back in. Roode hits Hardy with a kick, a bodyslam, and a Swagger Bomb.
Roode tags in Aries and Aries hits Hardy with a corkscrew splash. Aries repeatedly claps his arms on Hardy’s head and tags in Roode. Roode hits hardy with a vertical suplex and a knee drop. Roode tags in Aries and Aries hits Hardy with a suplex and a knee drop. Roode tags himself in and climbs to the top, but hardy hits him with whisper in the wind and tags in Storm.
Storm hits Roode and Aries with several punches. Storm hits Roode with an inverted backdrop, a clothesline, a backdrop and then an Alabama Slamma to Aries. Strorm hits Roode with a kick and a neckbreaker. Storm hits Aries with closing time and Aries rolls to the floor. Daniels and Kazarian run in to interfere in the match.
Hardy hits Roode with the Twist of Fate, but Aries runs in and hits Hardy in the head with the title belt. Aries and Storm get DQ’d, and then beat Hardy down. After the match, Aries and Roode argue over who gets to hold up Hardy’s title.

When we return, Joey Ryan and Matt Morgan are bragging about their upcoming match for the tag titles at Genesis. Ryan calls their team “the Big Morgan and the Big Organ.” They get jumped and beat up by tag champs Chavo and Hernandez.
Ken Anderson walks to the ring and introduces himself as the golden glossolalia. (glossolalia refers to speaking in tongues) Anderson is going to have a match with Kurt Angle next.
Match #5: Ken Anderson versus Kurt Angle.
Anderson retreats to the floor and Angle calls him a little bitch. Angle tells Anderson he’d better get in the ring soon, or he’s coming after him. Mike Knox comes up behind Angle and hits him in the back of the neck with a hammer.
Bischoff, Briscoe, and Samoa Joe run out to help, but it’s too late. Angle is taken out on a stretcher.
After the match, Sting comes to the ring with bat in hand and challenges Mike Knox to a fight right then and there. Devon orders Knox to go in and fight Sting.

When we return, Sting and Knox go after each other: Sting with a bat and Knox with a hammer. Sting hits Knox with the bat and Knox drops the hammer. Earl Hebner takes both weapons away and starts the match.
I thought the match was starting when we got back from commercial, so I don’t know why Sting was not DQ’d for hitting Knox with a bat.
Knox hits Sting with a punch and a clothesline and then chokes him on the ropes. Knox jumps on Sting’s back while Sting is draped on the ropes and then knocks him to the floor. Knox goes after Sting and they trade strikes on the floor. Sting gets the upper hand and throws Knox into the steel steps three times.
Sting slams Knox into the steel barrier and then hits him with a Stinger splash on the barrier. Sting rolls Knox back into the ring and attempts the Scorpion Death lock but Knox gets out of it. Knox tries to attack Sting but Sting no-sells it and then hits Knox with a Stinger splash.
Sting hits Knox with a Scorpion Death Drop for the win. After the match, Sting grabs the hammer that Knox had and smashes his hand with it. Sting prepares to hit Knox again but is interrupted by Devon.
Devon and the rest of Aces and Eights has taken Brooke Hogan hostage and asks Sting what he’s going to do about it. Devon promises 2013 will be Aces and Eights year, until Bully Ray comes out.
Bully runs right at Aces and Eights swinging his steel chain and he chases them all of. Bully saves his new sweetie, Brooke Hogan. Hulk Hogan comes out and he doesn’t look happy.

When we return, instead of thanking Bully Ray for saving his daughter, Hogan blames him for putting her in harm’s way. Bully Ray says he has been a pro wrestler all his life and that was his only love, until now.
Bully claims to have finally found something he loves more than wrestling: Brooke Hogan. Bully tells Brooke that she makes him laugh, and that he loves her. Bully then tells Brooke he knows it all happened very fast, but he wants to marry her.
Bully drops to one knee and places a ring on her finger. Brooke says yes and they smooch. Bully says he wants to do it in the Impact Zone, in the ring, next week. Brooke seems thrilled.
Bully and Brooke make out some more and Hulk walks away angry. Brooke and Bully show off the engagement ring for the camera as Impact goes off the air.
