She will be returning to court next week first though to be sentenced for multiple DUI arrests from last year. Sunny entered rehab which postponed the original sentencing date.
WWE matches are popular all around the world. This is probably because the wrestlers showcase their skills in a variety of different fighting skills in order to prove who’s the strongest and has the most character. In fact, it’s hard to find another sport with machismo so blatantly on display.
Wrestling is where entertainment meets athleticism and it has managed to gain a large following with people all over the world. Not surprising, bookmakers and casino operators such as Royal Vegas online casino have started to take notice of this popular sport.
So, are bookmakers currently accepting bets for wrestling? The answer to this question is a resounding yes. In fact, you’ll find that you can place a wager on wrestling matches on virtually any reputable bookmaker that you come across. The only caveat is that this is usually done for pay-per-view and other similar major events. When this happens, you can usually find the odds for the match the week beforehand. It is also important to note that some bookmakers will also offer anti-post betting odds but these are usually nonrefundable.
To be honest, many online sportsbooks have been offering the option to bet on wrestling for a number of years but, as interest in wrestling is increasing, it’s available at a lot more sites.
The biggest reason that online bookmakers allow gamers to wager on wrestling is because it’s great for business and it’s an excellent promotional technique. Virtually any event that draws a lot of interest, like TV show finales, elections, etc. can be bet on. So, understandably pay-per-view wrestling events are a huge deal.
Whether or not you bet on wrestling is your personal decision. But, consider this: people have been betting on wrestling for a very long time, on both online and offline casinos. This activity helps wrestling fans enhance their enjoyment of the match by adding an extra element of risk to the equation.
When it comes to betting on wrestling, the obvious answer is to bet on who you think will win. But, you have to come up with an effective strategy in order to see who will that be.
In other words, just because a wrestler makes a good showing every week on the regular channels, doesn’t mean you can expect the same outcome during a pay-per-view event, where they will be facing players that are just as skilled as they are.
So, in order to make a smart wagering decision about wrestling. You must consider all the possibilities. But, at the end, you will have to let your gut choose amongst the top choices.
If you find that your gut is more right than wrong, it’s possible for you to win some real money, no matter how the bookmakers have set their vig. But, it’s important to note that, because of the success of these serious bettors, some sportsbooks have begun placing limits on their stakes.
Just like with any sport, placing wagers on the underdog comes with deep odds. But, it’s also important to note that this has the potential to win you large sums of money. And thanks to online bookmakers, we are able to place these wagers on our mobile phones or desktop computers. In this way, we no longer have to wait in long lines to reap the benefits of a well-placed bet. Simply try try gaming on the move to see what we mean.
Placing a bet on your favorite wrestler online is simply a matter of making the right selections, depositing your betting budget, and choosing your stake before you lay the bet. After this has been accomplished, grab a beer, and watch the event unfold.
With probably a record-low audience expected tomorrow night on Raw due to the 4th of July holiday in the United States, WWE is trying to get viewers to tune in with a massive 16-man elimination USA vs The World tag team match.
The match was announced on WWE.COM however none of the participants were made public yet. Also announced on Raw is a United States title match with champion Rusev taking on Titus O’Neil. A champion vs champion match is also set to take place with Dean Ambrose vs The Miz, a replay of their match from Smackdown.
WWE is also teasing that a former Smackdown General Manager will be showing up to try and convince the McMahons to take over the show once it goes live. So far Teddy Long, John Laurinaitis, and Corporate Kane have showed up. Maybe it’s Vickie Guerrero this time? Or how about Kurt Angle?
When it’s too good to be true, then probably it is too good to be true. Details are emerging now that the Bobby Heenan Twitter account @RealBobbyHeenan isn’t real after all.
Twitter quickly “verified” the account after it went through the verification process but little did they know that they had been duped and the account of his wife Cynthia is also fake even though it’s been operating for several months. Cynthia confirmed with different sources that both accounts are not run by them.
The fake account swerved everyone including people such as Jim Ross, Mick Foley, Joey Styles, and other individuals who work in the business. The people behind the Heenan account has been very active over the past two days and managed to get over 30,000 followers in 48 hours.
Former WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes will be making a guest appearance on the CW series Arrow when the show starts season 5 later this year.
Rhodes has a history with the show’s leading man, Stephen Amell, and the two shared a feud while Rhodes was in the WWE which led to a tag team match at SummerSlam with Amell teaming up with Neville and Rhodes teaming up with King Barrett.
The announcement, reported by TVLine.com, was made during a joint Wrestling Rivals appearance at the Heroes & Villains FanFest held Saturday at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey.
Rhodes will be in the third episode of season 5. Arrow returns on Wednesday, October 5 at 8PM EST.
On September 4, 1995 WCW decided to go big and debuted WCW Monday Nitro on TNT to go head to head against WWE’s Monday Night Raw. The live broadcast – which started as a one hour show, then two, and then eventually expanded to three – gave WWE a run for its money, beating Raw in the ratings for 84 consecutive weeks.
WCW Nitro was the home of some of the most important moments in wrestling history, including the arrival of Scott Hall and Kevin Nash to start the nWo revolution, Sting’s transformation, Goldberg’s unbeaten streak including winning the WCW title against Hogan at the Georgia Dome, Arn Anderson’s retirement, and much more.
Now all the 288 episodes – from the very first one up until to the surreal last episode from March 26, 2001 – are on the WWE Network in the Vault section. The full Nitro library joins all the WCW pay-per-views on the Network with Thunder expected to join the Network soon.
The WWE Network is free for the first month for new subscribers and you can subscribe at http://w-o.it/wwentwrk. Subsequent months will cost $9.99.
It’s no secret that Shinsuke Nakamura is a legend in Japan and this week he returned to his homeland for the first time since signing with the WWE and as you can expect, the Japanese fans treated him like a true Superstar.
Nakamura wrestled Chris Jericho in the first leg of the tour yesterday and as soon as Nakamura’s theme hit the speakers, the fans went insane, singing along to the song like a typical NXT crowd.
The King of Strong Style arrived in the United States in February and has been a major part of the NXT roster ever since. You can check out Shinsuke Nakamura’s entrance at yesterday’s show in Tokyo below.
Our good friend Jeramie McPeek and his son Sam did a 15 minute interview with WWE Superstar Kane for their podcast Like Father Like Son.
Kane talked about the different characters he has played over the years (Christmas Creature, Isaac Yankem, Fake Diesel), his long-term relationship/feud with the Undertaker, his different Kane masks (did the leather one stink?) and his attack on the Phoenix Suns Gorilla back in 2003.
He also talked about a number of current events, including Shane’s return to WWE, Brock Lesnar fighting in UFC 200, Shaquille O’Neal as a wrestler, and the upcoming brand-split.
“I’m very excited about it. I think it’s going to give guys a lot of opportunity. I think it’s going to give us flexibility and variety in the shows that we don’t have right now, which is going to be good for everybody,” Kane said about the split. “And creatively, hopefully what we’ll be able to do is create products that stand alone, and in many ways, have audiences that are fans of both (shows), but for different reasons. If we’re able to achieve that, and be able to compete against ourselves in that way, I think it’s going to be a winner for everybody.”

Until Raw, Be Excellent Wrestling-Online Fans, and Happy Canada Day to all my Canadian Readers!
This week’s Smackdown drew 2,080,000 viewers, down 65,000 viewers from last week’s show. It was the third worst number the show has done on USA Network since moving in January. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
The Memphis-based newspaper The Commercial Appeal is reporting that charges against WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler and his girlfriend Lauryn McBride were dropped and WWE has reinstated the Smackdown announcer after his suspension last month.
“Jerry Lawler’s legal matter has been resolved and his suspension has been lifted, effective immediately,” a statement from WWE.COM read. Lawler missed the Money In The Bank and a few Smackdown shows due to the suspension.
The couple were arrested in June after police couldn’t identify who was saying the truth. McBride was saying that Lawler hit her, pushed her, and then gave her a pistol and told her to kill herself. Lawler’s story was different, telling the police that his girlfriend was drunk and tried to leave the house so he stopped her from driving, scratched his face and kicked him in the groin. The gun, he said, was brought in by her after she threatened to kill herself.
The charges against them will be expunged from their records and Lawler’s attorney said the whole incident was a big misunderstanding that won’t happen again.
During yesterday’s media conference call for UFC 200, former WWE and UFC champion Brock Lesnar shrugged off Stephanie McMahon’s comments about him and how WWE is not supporting his fight by telling the press that he simply doesn’t care what she says.
When asked how will this affect his WWE status if he ends up losing to Mark Hunt on July 9, Lesnar was even more blunt. “I really don’t give a shit. This is about me living my life, being the person that I want to be,” he said. Lesnar did acknowledge that without the fans he wouldn’t be able to do this but he doesn’t base his decisions on the fans and what he does is for himself and nobody else.
“I don’t sit up at night wondering is my drawing power is going to be hurt or if my WWE fans are going to tune in and watch me do this. I don’t give two shits about that,” the beast incarnate said.
The questions about being tested by USADA and Mark Hunt complaining about the exemption Lesnar got were then discussed. Lesnar has been tested five times so far according to the USADA website since his return was announced. “I’m a white boy and I’m jacked. Deal with it,” he told the press.
Hideo Itami, the NXT Superstar formerly known as KENTA, made his long-awaited return at a non-televised NXT live event in Winter Haven, Florida yesterday.
Itami teamed up with the TM61 tag team to take on Wesley Blake, Tino Sabbatelli, and Samoa Joe, and the babyface trio got the win with Itami getting the pinfall.
Itami has been out of action since May 2015 and underwent shoulder surgery. He was supposed to be part of the NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable triple threat match to determine the number one contender for the NXT title but was “attacked” outside the arena to explain why he wouldn’t be participating in the match and writing him off TV. His return was put off several times after complications in his recovery.

Chris Jericho’s popularity on his PodcastOne show Talk Is Jericho has landed the former WWE champ a larger role with the company and PodcastOne announced in a press release that Jericho signed a multi-faceted agreement for production, distribution and product marketing for the newly created The Jericho Network.
“I’m stoked to bring some of the most talented, interesting and hilariously ridiculous hosts to PodcastOne via The Jericho Network!” said Jericho. “My overall plan is for TJN to be an extension of the diverse array of subjects and guests I already feature on Talk Is Jericho twice a week. Get ready to be amazed, amused and entertained by ALL of the hosts and programs that will be added to TJN over the upcoming months…and don’t forget to wear a helmet!”
The first host to debut on the network is Charles Ashenoff, better known to wrestling fans around the world as Konnan. Future podcasts will take full advantage of Jericho’s involvement and interest in wrestling, music, paranormal activity and pop-culture in general. All podcasts on The Jericho Network will be available exclusively at PodcastOne.com, the PodcastOne app and iTunes.
PodcastOne Founder and Executive Chairman Norm Pattiz said, “Chris’ podcasts continue to be among the most successful on PodcastOne’s lineup. There are a lot more things that we can do together, and the Jericho network will give us the vehicle and time necessary with which to do that.”
Legendary manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan has finally joined Twitter using the @RealBobbyHeenan username. The account was verified by his wife Cynthia on her Twitter.
Taking a page out of the “Hello world” program, Heenan’s first tweet was “Hello humanoids,” a term he loved to use when he was at his best: managing and announcing.
The 71 year old Bobby had both throat and tongue cancers and is not able to speak. He looks completely different from his wrestling days due to reconstructive surgery on his jaw. Two years ago he fell and broke his hip just months after breaking his shoulder. He was hospitalized for three days in May after falling at his home.
Heenan has already amassed over 17,000 followers in just 24 hours and displays a photo of the Heenan Family – with Andre The Giant, King Kong Bundy, Paul Orndorff, Mr Perfect, Rick Rude, and Big John Studd – as his cover picture.
ABC affiliate WFTV9 in Orlando is reporting that WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon sent an e-mail on behalf of WWE to Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer to see how they can help after the Pulse nightclub shooting.
E-mails recently released by the city government shows that McMahon offered to “do everything we can to help support you and your efforts to rebuild the constitution of your great city.” McMahon told Dyer that Orlando is considered WWE’s second home with both NXT and the Performance Center based there.
“We are already brainstorming ideas to help raise money for the OneOrlando fund, and I wanted to know if there was more we could be doing,” she wrote. Dyer replied thanking Stephanie and telling her that somebody will be in touch with her to discuss.
WFTV9 said that neither WWE nor the Orlando government have said what’s in the plans but discussions have taken place.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been announced as part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2017 and will be getting his star on the world-famous street in Hollywood.
The former WWE champion is getting honored for his motion pictures work along with Amy Adams, Jason Bateman, Goldie Hawn, Chris Pratt, Brett Ratner, Ryan Reynolds, George A. Romero, Mark Ruffalo and Rita Wilson. The official date of the ceremony was not revealed apart from the news that it will happen sometime in 2017.
Having a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is not cheap. Whoever nominates the artist has to pay $30,000 if he or she is selected. Half that amount goes to constructing the sidewalk star. The other half goes to its upkeep.
The Rock will be the second WWE personality to have a star. WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon got his in March 2008.
WWE has hired a new host/announcer, Charly Arnolt, who had her official start day with the company on Monday. Arnolt worked for FOX59 Sports prior to joining WWE as an anchor/reporter.
“As of a couple days ago, I am now living in Orlando because I have accepted a hosting job with the WWE! This is a huge step in my career and I am beyond excited to get started this coming Monday,” she wrote last week. On Monday she wrote on her Twitter that it was her official start date with WWE and was on the way to Tampa for Raw. Arnolt will be mainly working for NXT, joining recent new employees Andrea D’Marco and Mike Rome.
WWE has been hiring quite a few announcers lately, probably getting ready for the brand split and assigning different backstage interviewers for each show.
