Gunther to fans: “Stop crying, okay, life goes on!”

In his first interview since retiring John Cena, Gunther told TMZ’s Inside The Ring that it felt really good retiring Cena and he’s coming up for his 20th anniversary as a wrestler and can say that these 20 years were all a work to make John Cena tap out!

Gunther said that he could feel the tense atmosphere all day, even backstage as for some it was as big as WrestleMania that night.

The Austrian star mentioned how he had to be escorted to his tour bus which was parked outside the Capital One Arena and he could feel the anger from fans who clearly wanted to see John win and get that feel good moment.

“You don’t always get what you want,” Gunther said, adding that he wanted to embrace the heat and felt good “walking through the anger” following the show being followed by fans.

Gunther described his win against Cena as the biggest and most meaningful of his career, and definitely the one with the biggest reaction afterward.

“It’s hard to compare it to anything else,” Gunther said, noting that Cena is a legendary figure in WWE and also outside the ring.

He said this win is enough to brag about it for the rest of his career and told fans to suck it up.

Asked what message he can give to fans to offer a “peace of mind,” Gunther replied, “Stop crying. It’s okay, life goes on!”

Sol Ruca gets WWE Women’s United States title shot next week

US Women's title

Former NXT Women’s North American champion Sol Ruca will have a chance to get her hands on a main roster title on next week’s episode of NXT.

Last night it was announced that Ruca will be taking on Chelsea Green for the WWE Women’s United States title, a match which will be taped tonight as part of the two back-to-back TV tapings due to the holidays.

Ruca beat Bayley last week on Saturday Night’s Main Event: John Cena’s Final Match and had an impressive outing.

The 26-year-old was a double champion, holding the WWE Women’s Speed title apart from the North American title but had to surrender both titles due to an injury.

Kyle Fletcher discusses breakout year in AEW and more in interview

Kyle Fletcher sat down with Chris Van Vliet in Houston, Texas to discuss his breakout year in AEW, the match where he felt he had his breakout moment, how close he came to signing with WWE before joining AEW, his steel cage match with Will Ospreay that included a Spanish Fly off the top, why he wears pink gear, how the screwdriver became his weapon of choice, future AEW dream matches, and more!

On previous comparisons to Will Ospreay:

“It’s one of those things where for a hot second you take it as a compliment, and at surface level it’s like, Oh, thanks. I think Will’s incredible at what he does. So I take that as a compliment. But then I feel like, the more I sit with it, and the more I hear it, the more it makes me go, No, I don’t want to be anyone else. I don’t want to be the second coming of Will Ospreay. I think after shaving the head, I got a lot of Randy Orton [comparisons], and it’s like the same feeling of at first, that’s really cool, that’s a great comparison. But I really want to start carving my own path, and I don’t want to be the second anybody else. So, yeah, I think that’s kind of what I’m focusing on, and just trying to carve my own path.”

On wearing pink gear:

“Yeah, so that kind of started earlier this year. I think it was a random tweet that jogged my memory. It was like ‘Not enough men wear pink in wrestling.’ I screenshotted it, and I sent it to my gear designer, the guy that designs all my gear. I was like, I have this idea. I’d done a triple red gear before, but in my brain, it just like popped. I was like, triple pink, just for whatever reason, that was my idea. Then I just sent that to him, and then we were like, All right, great. He cooked this thing up, I saw the design, and I was like, this is the best gear I have ever had. I’m so excited. Then it ended up coming in time, just as I found out I was going to be in the Owen tournament. So I was like, Oh, that makes sense. I’ll just wear it for the Owen tournament. That’s great. It’s perfect. So I wore it for that. It was Dynasty earlier this year. I wore that gear for the first time, and just the reaction that it got was polarizing. It was like, people loved it, people hated it, whatever it was. But I think whenever something like that happens, it sets something off in my brain. That’s something, whatever that is, something that organically gets that much reaction either way, it’s like, that’s something to tap into. So I was like all right, I’m gonna keep wearing this gear for a little bit, see what happens. I think I wore that one set of gear for a month or two, and by that point, everyone was like, ‘Pink is your thing now. I think it’s just synonymous with you.’ So I was like, Okay. And then since then, it’s just been every set of gear I’ve had. It’s like, all right, what can we do with pink this time? Let’s change it up. Let’s do something else. And then, yeah, the suits and stuff as well. I think I’ve just found my thing, my found my niche.”

On whether he feels the pressure of being told he is a future star:

“In a lot of ways, yes, but I think none of it even comes close to the pressure that I put on myself. I think my whole life, I’ve kind of felt this. Even before I knew I wanted to be a wrestler, I felt this calling that I was meant to do something big, that I was meant to be somebody. So when I fell into wrestling, and I was like, Yes, this is my thing, I always knew I wanted to be the best. I knew I wanted to be world champion. So I think it’s more so the pressure that I put on myself. I think when I hear other people say things like that, it’s almost more reaffirming to me that this thing that I felt, this drive, that I feel, that it is paying off and it’s for a reason, and that I’m just exactly where I’m meant to be.”

How has the screwdriver become your weapon of choice?

“Blame Don Callis for that one. Yeah, I don’t know. I’d like to think I’ve gotten pretty good at stabbing people. I like it because it’s something that a lot of people, not can relate to, they can’t relate to being stabbed with a screwdriver. But most people have held a screwdriver in their hands. I think they could pick up a screwdriver and go, ‘He got stabbed with this! What the hell? That’s crazy.!’ So that’s kind of why I like it.”

On his most painful moment:

“I think it was the Continental Classic match I had with Mark Briscoe. I was just climbing up the guardrail. He came and stopped me, and we did like a little baby superplex, is what we called it. Baby superplex, off the guardrail to the floor. For whatever reason, whatever angle I hit the ground, it was like all tailbone. I swear I felt like I was pissing blood. I felt like my butthole had fallen out, it was the craziest feeling I’d ever felt in my life. I was laying on the ground like, please leave me here for a good 10 seconds at least. I need to figure out if I’m okay right now.”

Did you actually piss blood?

“No, I did not. I was totally fine. But whatever feeling I felt at that time, I was like, it felt like everything had exploded, and I was just not having a good time at all.”

Dynamite to have one of its largest audience of 2025 tonight

AEW logo

TBS will have a three-and-a-half hour AEW block tonight, with Dynamite at 8PM, Collision at 10PM, and then the Countdown to World’s End at 11PM.

Dynamite and Collision will not be live but will air on tape delay as tonight’s broadcast is being recorded from Manchester, England where over 10,500 fans have already bought their ticket.

The Co-op is set up to hold 11,500 seats at the moment but can be easily expanded as it holds over 20,000.

This will be one of the biggest audiences for AEW in 2025, especially when it comes to Dynamite. While pay-per-view attendance is still somewhat strong, weekly attendance for Dynamite and Collision have remained very low comparatively.

Raw views for 12/08/2025

Raw

After a two-week absence, Raw returned to the Netflix global top 10 chart this week, with 2,500,000 views for the December 8 episode. That is down 600,000 viewers from the last number available for the November 17 broadcast.

The show placed #10 on the chart with 4,400,000 hours watched off a running time of 1 hour and 42 minutes.

It was not a very good week for Raw internationally as apart from placing in the top 10 in the United States, it only charted in Canada and Trinidad and Tobago elsewhere. This was the lowest tally in terms of top 10 spots since the show started on Netflix.

Exploring casino games offered by Melbet Egypt: slots and live dealer games

Melbet online casino in Egypt is used as a betting and gambling site catering to different gaming habits. Users from Egypt choose this operator because of its clear catalogue structure, wide selection of formats, and the ability to start playing with small amounts. Melbet range includes thousands of items, from classic slot machines to live games with dealers.

Slot Developers for Melbet Egypt

Melbet’s gaming catalogue is formed through cooperation with international studios that have been working in the gambling market for a long time. Only those slot machines that meet the technical requirements of the online platform and have valid certification are included in the range. This applies to correct operation, compliance with the declared parameters and stability of the gaming process.

The slots use standard result generation mechanics accepted in online casinos. Particular attention is paid to the RTP indicator – the catalogue is dominated by games with a return to player of 95% and above. However, the nature of payouts in a particular game is determined by its volatility, so slot machines may differ in terms of dynamics and frequency of wins.

The main slot developers represented at Melbet Egypt are:

  • Pragmatic Play – a studio with an extensive line-up of slots and table games. The catalogue includes machines with different mechanics and bonus modes;
  • Play’n GO – a developer known for games with high volatility and a distinct bonus round structure;
  • NetEnt – a studio focused on stable mechanics and a recognisable design style;
  • Evolution Gaming – in addition to live games, the catalogue also features video slots with high RTP;
  • BGaming – a provider that focuses on visual effects, animations and additional game multipliers.

Cooperation with these studios allows us to regularly update our game library. At the moment, Melbet offers more than six thousand slots, and the catalogue is gradually being replenished with new items.

Types of Slots on the Melbet Egypt Website

Slots remain the most popular format at Melbet Casino. They are chosen by both inexperienced users and players who have long been familiar with online slot machines. The catalogue features different types of slots, varying in structure and game mechanics:

  • Classic slots – machines with three reels and a limited number of paylines. The design uses familiar symbols such as fruits, numbers and BAR;
  • Video slots – a more complex format with five or more reels, a large number of lines or alternative ways to form winnings. They are often supplemented with bonus games and animations;
  • Slots with Pay Anywhere mechanics – winnings are formed by groups of symbols without being tied to fixed lines.
  • Progressive slots – machines with a shared jackpot that increases with the bets of all players;
  • Branded slots – games based on films, TV series or other media projects, with individual designs and soundtracks.

All slots at Melbet support payments in EGP. Conversion occurs automatically when you top up your account, and there is no additional commission for currency exchange.

Live Games at Melbet Casino

The live casino section at Melbet is designed for Egyptian players who prefer a more lively format. The game is played with a real dealer and broadcast in real time. Users watch the croupier’s actions and place bets via the website interface.

Live games are powered by software from Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live and Ezugi. At a number of tables, dealers communicate in Arabic, which makes the format more familiar to the Egyptian audience. The live section offers several main categories.

Live Roulette

Live roulette is a classic gambling game. Users can choose the size of their bet and the type of outcome themselves. Melbet offers the main versions of roulette:

  • European – with one zero and an RTP of around 97%;
  • American – with two zeros and a lower return;
  • French – with additional La Partage and En Prison rules.

Bets can be placed on individual numbers and sectors, as well as on groups of outcomes – colour, evenness or number ranges.

Live Blackjack and Baccarat

In live blackjack, the player participates in a hand against the dealer. The goal is to score 21 points or get as close to this value as possible without exceeding it. Standard actions are available during the game: drawing a card, standing, doubling the bet or splitting a pair. The round ends after all participants have completed their actions.

Baccarat has a simpler structure. The player chooses to bet on the player, dealer or tie, after which the result is determined according to the rules of the game. The bet size is set independently before the start of the round.

Live Game Shows

Live shows with interactive elements constitute a separate category. In such games, the result depends on the spin of the wheel or the random selection of a sector. Melbet offers formats such as Crazy Time and Dream Catcher. During the game, additional multipliers or bonus rounds may be activated, affecting the final winnings.

Other Live Entertainment

In addition to the main games, the live section offers poker tables, dice and card formats. The games differ in design and pace, but are controlled through a single interface. To get started, simply open the table – a brief description of the rules and procedure is displayed before the first bet.

Melbet Egypt Casino offers a structured catalogue of gambling games created by international providers. Slots remain the most popular format due to their simple rules and variety of mechanics. Live games are chosen by those who value the dealer’s participation and the feeling of a real gaming process. All games are tested before being posted, which allows you to use the site without technical risks or hidden conditions.

With this win, the young British star earned a shot at the NXT title on Tuesday, January 6 at the New Year’s Evil broadcast.

The ending of the match came after Slater hit his swanton 450 splash finisher on Borne while Hendry and Lennox brawled outside.

After the match, NXT champion Oba Femi came out for a staredown.

The main event for New Year’s Evil was supposed to be Femi vs Je’Von Evans, who won the Iron Survivor Challenge match to earn the shot but Evans cashed in his opportunity last week and got screwed over by Ricky Saints.

Moose returns to NXT, challenges Ethan Page for North American title

TNA star Moose returned to NXT yesterday and got himself an NXT North American title shot against Ethan Page.

The match will be broadcast on the December 30 episode of the show, but will be taped part of tonight’s double TV tapings at the WWE Performance Center.

Moose wrestled twice on NXT television before, in February of this year when he retained the TNA X Division title over Lexis King and then losing an NXT title match a month later against champion Oba Femi.

Big botch leads to Thea Hail win the NXT Women’s North American title from Blake Monroe

NXT Women's North American title

A big botch led to a title change on NXT last night, with Thea Hail crowned the new NXT Women’s North American champion after she defeated Blake Monroe.

The unplanned ending of the match came after Hail connected with a springboard senton and went for the cover. For some reason, Monroe did not kick out and only broke the pin by lifting her shoulder right after the three count.

The referee did what all refs are instructed to do: count to three as long as no one kicks out.

As soon as the three count hit the mat, the audience inside the Performance Center fell into silence as there was some confusion. The referee motioned for the bell as Hail said “What?” looking even more confused. After some more confusion, the referee got the title and handed it to Hail and her music kicked in.

“You didn’t kick out,” the referee explained to Monroe who was in disbelief. Hail burst out crying as Mike Rome announced her as the new champion.

The unplanned title changed caused some headaches backstage because of creative and quick turnaround was required as NXT will tape the next two weeks worth of television tonight.

Gunther says that John Cena “tapped out like a little bitch” in heated Raw opening segment

A smiling Gunther basked in heel heat as fans inside the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania showered him with boos, middle fingers, and “you suck” chants.

Opening the broadcast, Gunther came out to massive heat as the crowd was not thrilled to see him boasting about defeating John Cena.

“I did what I said I would do. I made John Cena give up,” Gunther said with boos drowning his voice out. “And when he gave up, he tapped out like a little bitch!”

Gunther teased leaving twice, but he came back once to the ring to pose on the turnbuckle and then returned to pose on the announcers desk.

The former WWE World Heavyweight champion was confronted by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce backstage, who told him that he was being an asshole and he could leave for the night.

Before he got in his car, AJ Styles was waiting for him and Gunther asked Styles if he had anything to say. Styles motioned for Gunther to get in the car and as he started to drive away, he stopped, rolled down the window, and did the “You can’t see me” hand sign to Styles as the crowd continued to boo.

Mick Foley parts ways with WWE over their relationship with President Donald Trump

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley announced on social media that he has parted ways with WWE due to their continued association and relationship with President Donald Trump.

Foley said he’s been concerned about WWE’s relationship with the President but Trump’s “incredibly cruel comments” about Rob Reiner were the final nail in the coffin.

“I no longer wish to represent a company that coddles a man so seemingly void of compassion as he marches our country towards autocracy,” Foley said. “Last night, I informed @WWE talent relations that I would not be making any appearances for the company as long as this man remains in office.”

Foley also told WWE that he will not be signing a new Legends deal once his current contract expires in June 2026.

“I love WWE, will always treasure my time with them, and I am deeply appreciative for all the opportunities they afforded me. But, in the words of Popeye the sailor, ‘I stands all I can stands, and I can’t stands no more,'” he concluded.

Randy Orton explains why he wasn’t in DC for John Cena’s final match

One person who was not in Washington for John Cena’s final match was his one-time fierce rival Randy Orton.

Orton was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia doing promotional work for WWE and that’s why he was unable to attend Cena’s last match.

In a post on Instagram, Orton said that he grew up in the past two decades with Cena and the two shared the ring together at least 100 times throughout the years.

“I would have enjoyed being there in DC for #wwe #snme and witness his emotional send off into retirement,” Orton wrote. “But I know if ANYONE understands my absence, it’s John, because I was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia #KSA promoting #riyadhseason and #royalrumble.”

Orton revealed that on the morning of December 13, he and Cena exchanged a few text messages and said he was honored to speak with him on the big day.

“I look forward to following John’s career in Hollywood AND beyond. Sky’s the limit with this guy. An inspiration not only to generations of fans, but to myself, who was lucky enough to learn firsthand from one of the most OVER wrestlers ever,” he continued. “Thanks for being so good to my family over the years and thanks for making the locker room a better place. Take care John, and I’ll see ya around.”

Austin Theory unveils himself as the mystery attacker helping The Vision

The attacker who has been helping The Vision lately unmasked himself yesterday on Raw and it was former WWE Tag Team title holder Austin Theory.

Theory, who has been absent from WWE television for five months, attacked CM Punk at Survivor Series during WarGames, but his identity was concealed by a mask and a hoodie.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce wanted to resolve the mystery on who the man was last night on Raw and wanted answers by the end of the night.

In the main event of the show, the masked man once again made his presence felt, attacking Rey Mysterio during his match against Logan Paul. His curb stomp on Mysterio allowed Logan Paul to recover and hit a frog splash for the pinfall victory.

After the match, CM Punk ran out with a chair, with the masked man escaping through the crowd to avoid the champion. As he was running up the stairs, he stopped, removed the hoodie and mask and unveiled himself, sporting a new haircut.

WWE doing multiple TV tapings tonight and Friday due to the holidays
