The Judgment Day has one less member in the faction after Finn Balor was kicked out last night on Raw.
The segment started with Dominik Mysterio complaining about losing the Intercontinental title against Penta last week, and Balor agreed that if he had helped him, he would still have the title around his waist.
Balor said that he wanted to teach Dom a lesson and has been guiding the young Mysterio for the past two years, only to come to the conclusion that Dom’s father was right, Dom was just a spoiled little prick!
Mysterio slapped Balor but Balor returned the favor with a Pele kick. But before Balor added more damage, McDonagh turned on his fellow countryman and then Mysterio, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez joined in on the assault.
“You lied to all of us for months. You got an ego. You wanted to be the leader. You played games. That’s never been what the Judgment Day has been about. You used to know that,” McDonagh wrote later on X. “Judgment Day is my family and if anybody dares to try to step on any of them, you get stomped out.”
Bayley earned herself a WWE Women’s Intercontinental title shot, now scheduled for next week’s episode of Raw, after she won a gauntlet match last night.
The gauntlet match started with Lyra Valkyria vs Iyo Sky, with Sky winning to advance to take on Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez. Sky also defeated Rodriquez but after the match, Sky was on the receiving end of a Tejana Bomb, which allowed the next competitor, Ivy Nile, to run out and quickly pin Sky to move on.
Bayley then came out as the next opponent and defeated Nile before facing the last competitor, Asuka. Kairi Sane tried to interfere in the match, but Valkyria evened the odds and eventually Bayley defeated Asuka after a Rose Plant.
The former champ will now face IC champion AJ Lee in Lee’s first title defense on Raw.
The Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington will play host to tonight’s Monday Night Raw live on Netflix worldwide starting at 8PM ET.
Three matches have so far been announced for the broadcast.
A new number one contender for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental title will be decided tonight as Asuka, Lyra Valkyria, Iyo Sky, Bayley, Ivy Nile, and Raquel Rodriguez battle in a gauntlet match to see who gets the next shot at AJ Lee.
The other two matches announced are Penta defending the WWE Intercontinental title against the Original El Grande Americano and Oba Femi faces Rusev.
WWE star Chelsea Green recently appeared on SiriusXM’s The Nikki and Brie Show.
During the interview, Chelsea Green addressed the fallout from the Michael Hayes controversy on WWE Unreal, revealing that he has since apologized. She also reacted to The Undertaker’s words of support.
Chelsea Green reveals that Michael Hayes apologized to her after WWE Unreal & reacts to support from The Undertaker (16:03-19:02)
Nikki Garcia: I mean, you had Undertaker.
Brie Garcia: I have goosebumps for you, girl.
Nikki Garcia: I have goosebumps for you, but put you over to the moon. How did that feel when you watched that?
Chelsea Green: I was on the phone with my sister and Matt texted me and Matt was like, “Did you go on Twitter today?” and I’m like, “No.” I don’t have notifications on social media because otherwise it would drive me nuts, so I’ll log on like once a day, do what I have to do and get off, and so I didn’t see, so I’m on the phone with my sister and I quickly go on. I’m like, “Oh my god, what have I done,” right? What have I said, because I’m always putting my foot in my mouth, so I go on and I see it and then I check my texts and he’s texted that to me too. He has doubled down, got my phone number and texted me to hype me up and my sister and I just had this crazy moment of like, “Holy shit. Man, I’m doing it. I’m really doing it,” and there’s someone, look. I know everyone says like, “Oh my gosh, you’re so funny or I watched you and that was hilarious,” but there’s always the same girls that is everyone’s favorite wrestlers. Rhea is always gonna be everyone’s favorite wrestler. Stephanie is always gonna be everyone’s favorite wrestler, right? And I’m used to that and I support them. I champion them. They’re my favorite wrestlers too, but to hear Undertaker saying my name, sticking up for little old me and saying it was such conviction, like he did not hesitate for a second and he had told me that in the text, like what is my life? Undertaker.
Nikki Garcia: I mean, even when Michael Hayes put in some input and the look on his face he gave him, like come on. I’ve been in the business for a long time. I was just like, damn, and I remember a time when Michelle and Undertaker complimented Brie and I about our reality show and how we are as reality stars and I remember how that felt and that was just about reality TV, and so I can’t even imagine my WWE character, and as a wrestler, how that would feel and how he said it and on his podcast and knowing it would go to the world and I agree with him.
Chelsea Green: He really stood, yeah. Thank you. I’m just so thankful because I feel like he really stood ten down ten toes down on how he felt and look. Michael Hayes has apologized to me and we’ve spoken about it and everything, but at the end of the day, I know that Undertaker has had my back because he booked me to win the mixed AAA tag titles, so he has believed in me since before Michael Hayes said that and someone of that high caliber or high status in wrestling, like that means a lot to me. You know, he doesn’t waste his breath on anyone.
The Nikki & Brie Show hosted by Nikki & Brie Garcia is available anytime on the SiriusXM app. New episodes every Monday and Thursday. Listen to the full episode here.
