When the second half of season three of Total Divas returns on E!, one cast member who has been part of the show since season one won’t be returning.
Trinity Fatu, better known as Naomi, confirmed on Twitter her departure from the show.
“For many fans who’ve been asking I am no longer apart of the #TotalDivas cast,” she wrote, adding that it was not her choice to drop from the show. “I still support my girls and I’m excited for the new season.”
In the new promo for the return of the reality series, one person who was also absent from it was Summer Rae although at this point it has not been confirmed if she’s out as well.
Alicia Fox and Paige join the cast for the remainder of season 3, which returns on January 4.
TNA President Dixie Carter wrote in a tweet that the company will be having another show on Destination America titled Impact Wrestling: Unlocked.
The new show will air on Saturdays at 10AM EST starting January 17, the next day that Impact starts for the first time in its permanent time slot of Friday nights.
No other information has been released about Unlocked yet in terms of show format.
WWE has started slowly adding the Prime Time Wrestling series to the WWE Network, a show which originally aired on USA Network from January 1985 to January 1993, signing off to make room for Monday Night Raw.
Only two shows so far are archived online, both from mid 1986 with WWE Hall of Famers, the late Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan hosting.
Earlier this week, WWE’s Chief Financial and Strategy Officer George Barrios said that a lot new programming will be announced for the WWE Network. He was speaking at the UBS Financial Conference.
PWInsider.com is reporting that former WWE and TNA Superstar Brian Kendrick was backstage at the NXT: Takeover WWE Network special on Thursday as he’s being given a tryout as a trainer.
Currently there are Billy Gunn, Norman Smiley, Robbie Brookside, Sara Amato, and Terry Taylor serving as trainers down at the Performance Center.
Kendrick joined WWE originally in 2002 and wrestled under the name of Spanky. He eventually departed in January 2004 but returned to the promotion in 2005 teaming up with Paul London. After a singles run as The Brian Kendrick, he left again in July 2009.
The former WWE Tag Team champion had two stints in TNA as well, one in 2004, a very brief one, and then returning in 2010. He lasted until February 2012.
In recent history of professional wrestling, many star names of the sport became infused with dangerous out-of-ring habits such as alcohol and drug abuse.
However, a new threat has surfaced, with a gambling addiction now the biggest fear amongst pro wrestlers.
Wrestlers, including superstars of WWE, can develop bad brain damage while flying from the ropes and having their heads pounded by opponents.
Due to the head trauma that is suffered while partaking in wrestling, often it leads to athletes possibly undertaking a serious gambling addiction.
In the current climate it would be much easier for the stars to gain simple access to betting and casino sites, where they can ease the pressure on a gambling compulsion. UFABET has only list legal gaming sites that are in compliance with state gambling law.
In the old days of wrestling, flambouant legends like Ric Flair, would often be filmed waging massive amounts around USA casinos, as the thousands of fans watched on in admiration. These days with the new regulations and law which you can read up on on sites like https://www.bestuscasinos.org/legal/new-jersey/ , the scene is much more tame and moderation is in style, which is probably a good thing for everyone. While in modern day, cases such as Chris Benoit have brought shock upon the wrestling community. The news almost brought down not just the WWE, but the entire business of professional wrestling when Benoit committed a double-murder, killing his wife and son, then committed suicide in 2007.
After an autopsy on the Canadian’s body, doctors found that his brain was so severely damaged, it resembled the brain of an 85-year-old Alzheimer’s patient.
Benoit’s tragedy sent shock waves around the entertainment world, the reported damage to the wrestler’s brain proving everyone involved is at risk.
Sports stars outside of wrestling can be affected too, violent contact sports such as boxing, put the athletes at a risk of picking up consequential head injuries.
Doctors refer to ‘chronic boxer’s encephalopathy’ or ‘punch-drunk symptom’, a critical condition suffered when fighters receive repeated concussive blows, resulting in irreversible damage. This causes problems with memory, speech, suicidal thoughts and ultimately, dementia.
With regards to medication and help, recent research has revealed that drugs can sometimes have an opposite effect.
Drugs usually prescribed to treat Parkinson’s disease, commonly associated with wrestlers and boxers, increase the risk of behaviours such as compulsive shopping and gambling, research has found.
This can be dangerous, as problems can be extensions of existing traits, for example someone who has always enjoyed a harmless flutter might develop more of a very harmful gambling problem. Today, with access becoming easier and easier, people can deposit by mobile bill and that doesn’t get easier. Access being a non issue will clearly get more and more people into this world. Loads of experts are keep a keen eye on all this.
Coming off a very successful NXT event on the WWE Network where pretty much everyone seemed to have “stepped it up,” Triple H wrote on Twitter how much he was proud of the team.
“Hey, can anyone help me? I’m missing a whole box of brass rings,” Triple H said.
The remark was obviously a shot at Vince McMahon, who on the Stone Cold podcast two weeks ago, said that none of the current crop of Superstars have reached for that “brass ring,” a comment which did not go down very well in the WWE locker room.
NXT Takeover: R Evolution received high praise from the Internet wrestling community for fantastic matches and an even better main event combined with the debut of Kevin Owens and the amazing war paint and entrance of Finn Balor.
Former NXT wrestler Corey Graves joined the NXT announce team yesterday at the NXT Takeover: R Evolution WWE Network special and that will be his new permanent position at the WWE developmental system.
The 30 year old Graves announced during the pre-show that he was forced to retire due to concussions and the company offered him a role at the announce booth instead.
Corey Graves has not wrestled since WrestleMania weekend where he suffered a concussion during a match at Fan Axxess and was pulled from all activities. Due to previous concussions – a lot of them – he was advised to hang up his boots.
“I saw Triple H in the [WWE Performance Center’s] gym,” Graves told WWE.COM. “I asked if he had any updates for me. His demeanor changed. He said something like, ‘I’m going to be honest with you. If I were you, I’d prepare for the worst.’ You could have told me a million things were going to happen to me that day, that wouldn’t be one of them.”
Graves credits Michael Cole for telling him to try announcing after he was up to help in any way at the Performance Center.
“WWE could have very easily discarded me and said, ‘You’re not able to do what we hired you for any more, so good luck to you,’” Graves said. “I like to think that they saw value in me, not only in the ring, but in what I’ve been able to prove I can do in the months since then.”
Here are the results from last night’s NXT Takeover: R Evolution which aired on the WWE Network from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

When we sit down to watch porn, it’s usually not for the same reasons we take in a non-adult movie. After all, as far as most people are concerned, the only thing a good porno needs to have is sex—and lots of it. But when it comes to a porn parody, it’s a different story. The driving force behind these movies is their explanation to re-enact pop culture’s favorite moments while adding a little tongue-in-cheek humor to the scenes and some sex.
Surprisingly (or maybe not), wrestling parodies are commonplace in the adult film industry. They range from big-budget, high-quality production films to videos that look like they were shot with a camcorder inside a local gym’s locker room. Regardless, someone out there is racking up the views on these things. Here are the ones worth watching, the cringe-worthy, and the parodies in between.
The Good: She-Hulk XXX
What’s better than an adult film starring Chyna as She-Hulk, acting as the hero who must derail Hydra’s evil plans? The answer is obvious: nothing. Adam & Eve recommends this movie for fans of superhero parodies and sex scenes with strong women, but the appeal stretches further than that. Chyna is no stranger to the adult film world, having starred in several movies over the years. And while most of them involve her wrestling, nude, and with an end result of some sort of sexual act, She-Hulk XXX features her as a superhero instead, which, oddly enough, produces a less aggressive, more erotic Chyna. Whether you’re a fan of seeing Chyna tap into her more sensual side, 69 with Invisible Girl (Alexis Ford), or covered in green body paint (where everything is green—everything), this porn parody is for you. It’s not the only porno Chyna has made since her days in the ring, but it is sexier than the infamous sex tape that catapulted her into the adult film arena, making it a solid win in our book.
The Bad: Official Hogan Knows Best Porn Parody
There are a lot of crazy premises for porn out there, but a deep desire to watch Hulk Hogan bone is not one I’ve ever encountered. The dude was one of the most entertaining wrestlers to watch during his reign as the Hulkster, don’t get me wrong, but when it comes to porn, he wouldn’t be my first choice as leading male character in a parody. The Official Hogan Knows Best Porn Parody was released in 2011, six years after Hogan’s reality TV show premiered on VH1. The original is pretty awful itself, so it naturally makes great fodder for a parody, albeit one that you would never, ever want to jerk it to (or at least never admit that you did). The film features all the key characters in the show, including Hogan’s then-wife, Linda (played by Julia Ann), daughter Brooke (Kagney Linn Karter), and son Nick (Michael Vegas), as well as a prostitute played by Kimberly Kane and other miscellaneous non-original-show-related characters. Then comes Hogan (Evan Stone). Really, I think it’s the fake facial hair and wig that gets me. It’s so spot-on yet completely terrible at the same time it’s hard to look away. Kind of like a bad car wreck, or this porn parody.
The Ugly: John Cena and Mickie James/Kendra Lust
This particular parody is just as messy as the real-life events it was purportedly based on. And no, not messy in a money shot way. After a drama-filled few months, John Cena’s divorce from his high school sweetheart was made official in 2012. No one seems to know the real reason for the split. Although, there were plenty of rumors flying around, some of them even fueled by the Mrs. Ex-Cena herself, according to TMZ. The main rumor involved Cena cheating on his wife with Mickie James (the two had a brief fling in 2008), or with adult film star Kendra Lust, or with both. Regardless of what’s true and what isn’t, Kendra Lust made a porn parody with a John Cena lookalike sporting denim shorts, baseball cap, and even a WWE World Title belt. To make matters worse, some felt the parody implied that Kendra Lust was acting as Mickie James, though the video description reads “The trouble started when superstar pro wrestler Johnny’s mistress Kendra Lust showed up at the gym looking to get some…” seemingly confirming the real-life cheating rumors. Despite the confusing nature of the plot, the porno itself has its merits, as all porn does. There are quite a few steamy sex scenes in a wrestling ring, after all.
As an article by the Daily Beast points out, porn parodies based on popular culture are certainly nothing new. But porn based on wrestling may be one subgenre that is more appreciated by fans of the sport than anyone else. If you’re watching for the sex, the good is definitely the way to go. But if you have an extra couple of hours to kill, a less than stellar parody may provide the most entertainment. There’s a lot to be said about porn so bad it’s good, even if you’re watching for the hilarity factor alone.

Popular magazine Rolling Stone jumped on the CM Punk bandwagon and is carrying an interview with the newest member of the UFC roster on its website.
The interview doesn’t go very much new material or things we haven’t found out over the past few days. Punk talks about the reactions he got since signing with the UFC, not being the one to blame for given the opportunity, difference between WWE and UFC, breaking the news to his wife, if he’s afraid of getting hurt, and more.
One very interesting question was that when his UFC journey is over will there be any desire to headline WrestleMania one day in the future. “No, absolutely not,” Punk replied.
Not headlining WrestleMania was one of Punk’s biggest issues with WWE management and despite being one of the top stars in the company he never got the honor to say that he went in the last match of the biggest show of the year.
Lucha Underground’s Big Ryck joined Jeff Jackson and Tony Mirabella yesterday on SNS UnPlugged to discuss the show and tonight’s episode which features a triple ladder match for $100,000 between himself, Prince Puma, and Johnny Mundo.
The man formerly known as Ezekiel Jackson from WWE joined the guys from his car while stuck in traffic in Los Angeles for the 30 minute talk.
Ryck said he’s having a blast working for Lucha Underground and it’s something different, something which was much needed in the world of professional wrestling. They can’t replace what was in the past but they’re doing things he said that makes fans look forward to every week.
One of the hosts, Jeff, talked about how the show looks completely different from your typical show and Ryck credits Chris DeJoseph, who heads creative, for the experience. He said that the overall product is super fun to be a part of and is a breath of fresh air for those who’ve been doing it for a while. He also added that companies like WWE and TNA are business-minded companies and they’re gonna give you what they think is right while Lucha Underground will give you stuff which you won’t see on other shows.
The discussion then turned for tonight’s show on El Rey Network with a main event of a triple ladder match with $100,000 up for grabs. Ryck said he’s not a big fan of heights although he’s not afraid of it… he just don’t wanna fall from something high! He puts over his opponents Prince Puma and Johnny Mundo and said that there’s nothing fancy about him, he just shows up to fight and puts people through tables.
The boys then went to some questions which they took from their Facebook fans and one of them was what was the best advice he got from William Regal while working with him in WWE. Ryck said that it was a dream come true to work with one of the people he studied and while it’s not the best advice he got, Regal always complemented him for moving really well in the ring despite being a big guy. He said Regal contributed a lot to pro wrestling and taught a lot of young guys and he would work with anyone who asked him.
The Vince McMahon brass ring comment from his Steve Austin podcast then came up and Ryck said it’s bullshit and no, not everybody can grab it. He said he didn’t see the whole interview yet but he said that WWE missed the boat with a lot of youngsters such as Zack Ryder, Drew McIntyre, Curt Hawkins, and Tyson Kidd and it’s not just up to them to step it up and shoot for the stars as McMahon said.
Another question asked was if he still has the ECW title. Ryck said it’s an honor for him to be the last ECW champion, a title he won on the last episode of ECW TV. He said it doesn’t matter if he was champion for 59 seconds or for four years since technically he’s still the champ. He said yes he still has a replica ECW title back home as WWE has different titles, such as one to carry at house shows, one to use solely on television, etc.
Ryck was then asked to compare WWE and TNA to Lucha Underground. He said as a professional wrestling, your goal is to reach the pinnacle, which is WWE. He said he wrestled in front of 80,000 people at WrestleMania and he got a taste of the big show and really enjoyed that. He said Lucha Underground has a lot of hungry guys who are shining and love to perform. He said he’s sitting back and enjoying having fun and it helps that he lives in Los Angeles, where the show is taped.
He also put over creative and said a big effort was done so everyone on the roster is different and no one is the same. Each character has their niche and the team works their butt off to make sure fans enjoy it.
The hosts asked him about his short time with TNA this past Summer and he was told he’d be part of five shows over a period of three days and then they would see how it would go on from there. On the final night of tapings he was told that he’d be fired for storyline reasons, but he didn’t sweat it as he was already in contact with the people behind Lucha Underground and knew he’d be back on television in September. He said he’s a big fan so it was nice to hang out with the boys backstage at TNA and see people who he worked with in WWE. He prefers being at Lucha Underground though as he doesn’t have to leave his wife and kids for six days in a row so he’s cool with that and believes he’s in a better place now. He said the icing on the cake is that his kids come along to all the tapings and he gets to sleep in his own bed after the show.
Wrapping things up, he said it’s hard to put into words what he could say to fans who have not seen the show yet but they’ll enjoy the different new characters and the old people with new packages. He’s thankful it’s only one hour long as if it’s longer stuff will get repeated and fans would lose interest in the product.
