Hey everybody! It’s @TheMagnumDA with tonight’s Pick’em for WWE Hell in a Cell 2021. As some of you may have followed on Twitter, a rogue member of the Pick’em Crew stole the WOPC Championship away from our very own Colin Vassallo, the rightful winner of the WrestleMania Backlash pick’em. That rogue member, Brother Bull, has made claims that he never lost the title in the first place, going so far as to hold the belt hostage!
Tonight, in a Fatal 4 Way, we’re going to decide who will be the current WOPC Champion…and that person will go on to the next major PPV in a one-on-one Pick’em showdown with the big, bad Bull to finally decide the Undisputed WOPC Champion. Those contestants? Yours truly, Heel Turn Tom, Metal Matt, and the brains behind Wrestling-Online, Colin Vassallo. This is going to be CONFIDENCE POOL style picks, where you can assign points to picks based on confidence (1-6). At press time, there were six matches on the card, so players can score up to 21 points in this event. With that in mind, ON WITH THE PICKS!
WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
Tom: I feel like they will need or want a dominant champ when they go on the road. Charlotte wins the title tonight – 4 Points.
Matt: Charlotte’s going to take it, but it will be close. Charlotte Flair wins – 5 Points!
Colin: Flair needs to stay away from a title for a long time, and she also needs to stop crying and complaining. It’s time for Rhea to get a decisive victory to cement her as a proper champion and one clean W over Charlotte should accomplish that. Rhea wins – 5 Points.
Magnum: I think this is the match that cements Rhea as a legitimate champion. She’s going to brutalize Charlotte. Ripley wins – 5 Points.
Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens
Tom: Sami’s documentary gets some bad footage with a loss to Owens. KO wins – 3 Points.
Matt: This is the match where KO finally gets put in his place. Sami wins – 1 Point.
Colin: ANOTHER match between these two. Can we have a stipulation like Ciampa/Gargano had a while back on NXT? Final match, no more. End of. It’s at a point where I don’t care anymore. Kevin Owens wins – 3 Points.
Magnum: I think this is finally the blowoff with these two, although I’m always happy to see them in the ring together. KO wins – 4 Points.
Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins
Tom: Cesaro had his run for the title, now WWE will be getting Rollins ready for a run with Roman. Seth wins – 2 Points.
Matt: Cesaro is going to mop the floor with Seth Rollins. Cesaro wins – 6 Points!
Colin: I feel like they took the wind out of Cesaro lately. Figured they would. And I’m thinking they will continue tonight with Seth Rollins getting the revenge. Rollins didn’t have any major wins since his return, so I’m picking him for this match. Rollins wins – 1 Point.
Magnum: I am pretty sure that Rollins was moved into the “favorite” role on betting lines everywhere, but I don’t think that means he’s going to win. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they have one more blowoff after this. I’ll take Cesaro – 1 Point.
Alexa Bliss vs. Shayna Baszler
Tom: I’d like to see Shayna used better, but I’d be crazy to not pick Alexa. Bliss wins – 1 Point.
Matt: Alexa Bliss scares me…but I can’t pick against her. Bliss wins – 4 Points.
Colin: I hate they put Baszler in this supernatural BS program. Look, I like Alexa, I think she’s great. But this gimmick doesn’t work without The Fiend beside her. She should go back to being Alexa Bliss and that’s that. With that said, choosing Alexa to win with some more BS that insults our intelligence! LOL. Bliss wins – 2 Points.
Magnum: Man, this storyline is beyond bizarre. Let’s just go with Alexa – 2 Points.
WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship – Hell in a Cell
Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley
Tom: I like Bayley, but I can’t come up with a story going forward with her winning. Bianca will retain – 5 Points.
Matt: The weeks of mind games have all come to this. Bayley will reclaim what rightfully belongs to her. Bayley wins – 2 Points.
Colin: This should be a great match, and this is the one I’m most looking forward to. There’s no way in hell that Bianca is losing this one. She’s gonna be champ for a while. If there’s an opponent I would want in a HIAC, if it’s not Sasha, it’s Bayley. I hope it delivers. Bianca retains – 6 Points.
Magnum: I’m most confident about this match – I do believe that Belair is going to really give Bayley a lot of problems. I think this is Belair’s match to win. Bianca retains – 6 Points.
WWE Championship – Last Chance Hell in a Cell
Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
Tom: I feel like we have seen this match before. It has to be Bobby winning, right? Lashley retains – 6 Points.
Matt: Bobby Lashley FTW!! Lashley retains – 3 Points.
Colin: So if Drew loses, no more WWE title shots for him as long as Bobby remains champion. If it was a different champion, I would have gone with Drew, but I’m going to keep Lashley for this one. Drew will not lose clean, and I’m thinking some kind of interference will prevent him from winning the match, keeping him strong in the process. Lashley retains – 4 Points.
Magnum: I’m in the population that thinks Lashley is going to retain, as well. I don’t know who is on the horizon…it could be Kofi Kingston…but tonight, it will be Lashley – 3 Points.
