MMA Junkie is reporting that Stephan Bonnar failed his UFC 153 drug test and tested positive for the anabolic steroid Drostanolone.

In addition to Bonnar, Dave Herman also botched his drug test and tested positive for Marijuana metabolites. The drug test was performed by the UFC as there’s no Brazil athletic commission.

Mark Ratner, UFC’s Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, told MMAFighting that the company will announce suspensions for both fighters, something which will not really effect Bonnar as he already announced his retirement from the sport.

Both Bonnar and Herman were on the losing side at UFC 153 to Anderson Silva and Minotauro Nogueira respectively.
