The Dynamite Kid Tom Billington suffers stroke

Tom Billington, better known to wrestling fans as the Dynamite Kid, has suffered a stroke according to the Wrestling Observer. Unfortunately no more details are available regarding his condition as of this writing.

Billington moved back to the United Kingdom following his retirement from professional wrestling. He is in a wheelchair as he is paralyzed and cannot make use of his left leg.

His disability comes after years of of injuries throughout his wrestling career and thanks to using the diving headbutt frequently. He has been told that he would never walk again.

The former one half of the British Bulldogs has been out of the wrestling scene ever since and very very rarely makes appearances. Earlier this year Highspots.com released a documentary on the life of the Dynamite Kid.
