Shane McMahon says his father is focused on his “next thing” but it’s not wrestling

Speaking to TMZ, Shane McMahon said that his father Vince has been doing “really well” and is enjoying life and getting a bit of a rest.

Shane, however, said that we all know how Vince is and he’s doing “the next thing and that’s what he’s focused on.”

What “the next thing is” is running his brand new company, 14TH & I and not a new wrestling promotion, which Shane flat out said that those rumors are false.

Shane said that his father still owns a “big part” of TKO so you never know what’s going to happen there when asked about the recent rumors that Vince was toying with the idea to buy back WWE. McMahon only owns around 3% of TKO shares and has no voting power anymore so he’s just getting richer on the company’s continued success.

Asked about his meeting with AEW President Tony Khan last year in Texas, McMahon said that he wished AEW continued success.

“But it’s not WWE. It’s not the company I helped build. But you never know what’s going to happen in this business,” Shane said.
