Ric Flair’s fiancee, Wendy Barlow, posted an update on Flair on her Facebook page, denying the reports by Dave Meltzer that he had colon surgery. Barlow said that he had a different kind of surgery, but did not specify which.

Barlow slammed the media for coming up with that news, saying she doesn’t know how they come up with these stories.

“I took Ric to the hospital Friday night with severe abdominal pain. From that moment on it all seems like a nightmare…multiple organ problems,” she wrote. “Not to go into too many details, I want everyone to know he still needs prayers as he is still in critical condition.”

Barlow, who worked with Ric in WCW as Fifi the Maid, added that she has been by his side since Friday and will continue to make sure he gets the best care possible.
