Ric Flair has successfully undergone heart-related surgery yesterday in Atlanta and is now recovering.

Ric’s wife, Wendy Barlow, told TMZ that doctors said that the procedure was a success and thanked everyone for their prayers and support.

The surgery was supposed to be done on Friday but Flair suffered further medical complications that prevented him from going under the knife. Doctors rescheduled the surgery for Monday instead.

The Roast of Ric Flair event which was set for this Friday at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas as part of Starrcast II has been canceled as Flair will not be healthy enough for the long trip. The event is still listed on the Starrcast.com website and on the FITE.TV schedule.
