Pat McAfee joins the ESPN Monday Night Football pre-game panel

ESPN today announced that Pat McAfee will be joining the Monday Night Football pre-game show every week as the newest panelist on the broadcast.

In addition, his popular Pat McAfee Show will air from the same city where MNF will be held every week.

“‘Tis an honor to be a part of MNF in any capacity. I hope I can be an asset as we start the journey to The Biggest Super Bowl of all time in LA on ESPN and ABC,” McAfee wrote on X.

The former WWE commentator, which was last seen on WWE television on night one of WrestleMania 42, also remains the host of ESPN College GameDay.

McAfee stopped doing commentary for WWE in June of last year due to his ever-growing schedule and the arrival of his baby.

He is in negotiations with ESPN for a new contract which would make him the most-paid personality on the air for the network.
