nZo, the man formerly known as Enzo Amore, was hospitalized during the weekend after getting knocked out during a match at the Southwest Wrestling Entertainment show in Dallas, Texas.

According to Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer, who discussed the story on Wrestling Observer Radio, the former WWE Cruiserweight champion was on the receiving end of a DDT outside the ring and was legit knocked out.

nZo was stretchered out and was taken straight to a hospital for further evaluation. The match was being filmed for the SWE Fury show.

Yesterday, nZo tweeted “Thanks everybody” but did not elaborate more on his condition.
