The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Major League Wrestling (MLW) has signed a new television deal with FOX-owned Tubi, a deal which kicks off today.

The MLW Fusion weekly television series will stream on Tube for free every week at 8PM, with the first episode set for today, September 17. New episodes will premiere each Thursday in the same time slot.

The Tubi deal was the subject of a lawsuit by MLW against WWE after MLW claimed that WWE put pressure on FOX officials to cancel a deal originally agreed to five years ago. WWE and MLW eventually settled out of court, with WWE paying $20 million to MLW.

“Wrestling should be easy to find and free to watch,” said Court Bauer, the founder and CEO of Major League Wrestling. “We built MLW around that, no paywalls, no subscription barriers, nothing standing between a fan and the show, and Tubi shares that same fan-first philosophy at scale. Starting Sept. 17, Tubi’s 110 million monthly active users have a front row seat on Thursday nights to the hardest hitting hour in pro wrestling, and it won’t cost a dime.”

Tubi says it has 110 million monthly active users to their streaming platform.
