Mickie James to produce all-women NWA pay-per-view

Mickie James has found a new home in the NWA and will be part of something big in August for the promotion.

James was introduced by NWA owner Billy Corgan during yesterday’s episode of Power and he announced that the former WWE Superstar will be producing an all-women NWA pay-per-view which will air on Saturday, August 28 from St. Louis, Missouri.

The former WWE Divas champion said that an all-women PPV was something she had been working for lately but the idea was shot down every time, presumably referring to WWE.

Mickie was one of the many who got cut from WWE due to cost-savings this year and her release also led to the firing of Mark Carrano after her personal stuff was sent back to her home in a trash bag.
