Mickie James joins OVW in executive position

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling is reporting that Mickie James has signed on to become OVW’s Creative Director, Head of Female Talent, and Executive Producer.

The former multi-time WWE Women and Impact Knockouts champion finished up her duties with Impact several weeks ago and is free to appear anywhere.

Ohio Valley Wrestling resurfaced in the news over the last several weeks after Netflix released the documentary series titled Wrestlers based on the former WWE developmental territory.

The 44-year-old James, wife of current Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis, worked for Ohio Valley Wrestling from August 2003 till she made her WWE main roster debut in late 2005.
