Legendary belt maker Reggie Parks passes away at age 87

Reggie Parks, the man known as the King of Belts, passed away at the age of 87 according to Bill Apter.

Parks designed some of the most-beloved wrestling titles in the 80s and 90s including the WWE Winged Eagle heavyweight title, the classic WWE Intercontinental and Tag Team titles as well as the WCW World, Tag Team, Television and United States titles from the early 90s.

The iconic Winged Eagle WWE title is still considered as the best-looking title for many wrestling fans, with the likes of Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, Ultimate Warrior, and many others carrying it.

The Cauliflower Alley Club issued a statement saying, “We send out our sincerest condolences to the family & friends of the legendary Reggie Parks who has passed away at the age of 87. Not only is Reggie known for his years in wrestling, also known as the man who made some of the most iconic championship belts in wrestling history.”
