Jim Ross doing boxing commentary for Fox Sports 1 on Memorial Day

Jim Ross announced that he will be doing boxing commentary for Fox Sports 1 on Memorial Day.

The May 26 event will be a Golden Boy Promotions special saluting the men and women of the Armed Forces with a Golden Boy Live! show at Fort Bliss’ Stout Fitness Center in El Paso, Texas.

The show will be headlined by Nicaragua’s Rene Alvarado defending his WBC Silver Featherweight Title against Texas native Rocky Juarez.

Ross already has a working relationship with FoxSports.com where he writes stories for the website.
