Hulk Hogan’s widow Sky to file medical malpractice lawsuit

The Daily Mail and TMZ are reporting that Hulk Hogan’s widow, Sky, is going to file a lawsuit at least against one of the doctors and others who she believes were involved in contributing to the death of Hogan via medical malpractice.

Sky told TMZ that Hogan’s phrenic nerve was “compromised” during a neck operation done in May, and that prevented Hogan from talking and breathe properly.

Hogan reportedly stopped breathing and did not suffer a heart attack, even though Clearwater PD at the time said it was a cardiac arrest call. But an occupational therapist who was at Hogan’s house when he passed away, informed the police that his phrenic nerve was damaged. This was recorded on the police body cam footage.

A private autopsy on Hulk was done and results have not been made public. With his wife planning to sue, it looks like there’s enough evidence to support the medical malpractice call.

The Clearwater Police Department are still doing their own investigation on Hogan’s death and have not closed the case.
