Heels canceled by STARZ after two seasons

STARZ has canceled the television series Heels after just two seasons according to a report by Variety.

Season two wrapped up in mid-September and ended with a huge cliffhanger, but unfortunately for fans of the show, they will never get to see what happened next.

The series featured Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig in leading roles as brothers Jack and Ace Spade who try to run the independent wrestling company Duffy Wrestling League which their father owned.

CM Punk was featured in both seasons as one of the DWL wrestlers and AJ Mendez was also brought in for season two which expanded on women’s wrestling.

Season two drew significantly less viewership than the first season, with an average of 39,000 viewers per episode compared to the 91,000 average from the first one two years ago.
