GoFundMe campaign launched to help Syko Stu

A GoFundMe campaign to help cover the medical costs for indie wrestler Syko Stu following the assault by Raja Jackson this past weekend has gone online.

With a goal of $110,000, the campaign has already reached over $90,000, with 2,300 different donations.

“Stuart Smith is a U.S. Army veteran who used wrestling as an outlet to deal with his PTSD, this incident has not only caused major physical harm, but will also disrupt his career inside the ring and outside of it,” says the description.

Notable names who already helped include Chris Jericho with a $2,500 donation and Rusev also chipped in $500. Ariya Daivari and Cezar Bononi posted $500 each as well. YouTuber Mr. Beast kept his promise and made the largest donation of $10,000.

Donations will go towards uncovered medical expenses, recovery support, and loss of income.
