Florida appellate court orders Hogan/Gawker records to be unsealed

It might be bad news for Hogan as the 2nd District Court of Appeal in Florida ordered today that records from the Gawker lawsuit must be unsealed, overturning a decision taken by Pinellas County judge Judge Pamela Campbell.

It’s still not revealed which documents will become available but this can lead to further embarrassing moments for the former WWE and WCW champion. Hogan’s camp fought hard to keep them sealed while Gawker’s legal team wanted them released to the public.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, the sealed records in the case could include details of an FBI investigation into an alleged extortion attempt against Hogan. They could also include video of his racist rant, a rant which caused havoc for Hogan last Summer.
