Dwayne Johnson announces new project for CNN Original Series

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced that his production company Seven Bucks Productions is teaming up with CNN to present a new CNN Original Series titled Soundtracks: Songs That Made History.

The latest project from the hardest working man in show business will take viewers on “an extraordinary journey through history using the music that defined our country’s biggest moments.”

Johnson wrote that CNN immediately ordered the series after they delivered the pilot show which includes artists such as Billy Joel, Lee Greenwood, and Patti LaBelle who all sat down to speak on how their music defined and inspired the country post 9/11.

The series is produced in conjunction with Show Of Force and will debut in 2017.
