Don’t expect Ronda Rousey back in AEW anytime soon

Appearing on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams, Ronda Rousey dismissed any more appearances for AEW, at least for the time being.

Her comments come after AEW President Tony Khan told reporters during a conference call prior to Double or Nothing that Rousey is welcome to make appearances in AEW any time she wants.

The former Raw and Smackdown Women’s champion shocked the wrestling world at Revolution, showing up unannounced to help her friend Marina Shafir.

“No, that life of being on the road is probably more time consuming than doing training camp at home,” Rousey told Adams. “I had a great time, but it just happened to be in town and my best friend was there, you know what I mean?”

Rousey would later classify her surprise at Revolution as a “f*ck you” to TKO after the UFC failed to take on her fight against Gina Carano and pay them what they thought would be appropriate.
