Former WWE Superstar Dave Bautista took offense at the Manny Pacquiao recent comments about gay saying that the statement hits close to home as his mother is a lesbian.

Pacquiao – who was dropped by Nike following his anti-gay comments – said on national television that “if men mate with men and women mate with women, they are worse than animals,” as animals don’t mate with the same gender. He then issued an apology for comparing homosexuals to animals.

Bautista, who was caught at LAX airport by TMZ, called Manny a f**king idiot and said, “My mom happens to be a lesbian so I don’t f**king take that shit. I don’t think it’s funny. If anyone called my mother an animal I’d stick my foot in his ass.”

He said that his comments makes him respect the boxer a lot less. Bautista is currently busy filming Guardians of the Galaxy 2 for Marvel. The former WWE champ is also half Filipino – Manny’s home country – and has the Philippines flag tattooed on his bicep.
