CM Punk responds to Vince McMahon’s apology

Appearing on Colt Cabana’s The Art of Wrestling podcast once again, former WWE champion CM Punk gave his reaction to the apology that Vince McMahon issued to him on Monday night while on Steve Austin’s podcast.

Punk said if it was a sincere apology, McMahon shouldn’t have used it as a publicity stunt on the show. “You have my phone number, you have my address, you could text, you could call, you could show up when you’re a 10 minute fu**ing drive from my house and apologize to me like a man. That’s the f**king reality of it,” Punk fired back.

He also didn’t believe that the wedding day termination papers were a coincidence since they knew when he was getting married as his now-wife AJ Lee asked for time off to get married and honeymoon during that week.

He said he talked to Triple H on the 11th and then got the FedEx overnight on the 13th with a postmark on the 12th, so they knew what they were doing. McMahon said that it was bad timing and lack of communication between the legal and the talent relations department but Punk clearly didn’t buy the explanation.
