Booker T running for mayor of Houston in 2020

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T announced during his radio show on Sportsradio610 that he will be running for mayor of Houston in 2020.

“You heard it, 2020 I’m preparing. I’m preparing myself to run for mayor of the city,” Booker said.

There have been many wrestling stars in the past who tipped their hat in the political scene, perhaps no bigger name than Jesse “The Body” Ventura who was elected Governor of the state of Minnesota. And starting next month, a WWE Hall of Famer will be in the White House as President of the United States and former WWE CEO Linda McMahon will be running the Small Business Administration under Trump’s team.
