Who will be the next big superstar in WWE?

When it comes to professional wrestling these days, it’s not as easy as just looking at the results of the last few matches to decide who will be the next WWE superstar in the future or even the new reigning champ. There weren’t as many wrestlers in the old days, and the favourites were far fewer to pick from, but there are definitely a few that stand out this year.

We are going to take a look at some of the top favourites right now who could possibly be the next big superstar.  In the near future, a time will come when someone needs to fill the spot as the company’s No.1 male wrestler.

Roman Reigns is undoubtedly the current WWE superstar, achieving all accolades. Currently holding both world titles and featuring in the main events in many WrestleMania’s. But there will come a time when the next line will step up. So let’s dive in and see who might have what it takes so you can use the sign-up offers betting companies run to place a bet on your favourite superstar.

Austin Theory’s character is not subtle about trying to portray that he is the next superstar, and his current progression shows that that might be the case.  He’s attractive, young and athletic, and his character doesn’t weigh him down by being too comical. He doesn’t often fall victim to injuries, and he can stand in the ring next to any of the major names and portray a character that looks like he belongs in the ring with them.

Cody Rhodes has more to his name now than ever before. If it wasn’t for his current injuries, he would no doubt be holding the “Money in the Bank” briefcase. The world title could well be within his grasp as he is currently in the best position to take the title from Roman Reigns. It will come as no surprise if Rhodes becomes the superstar for all significant events in years to come.

Bron Breakker has already taken the NXT championship twice and is constantly mentioned as the next world champion. To his credit, if even your competition talks highly about you and they see him going far within this sport, that has to say something. Breakker can no doubt handle himself well in the ring and can take anything that comes his way, he also has a good feel for the mic, and fans react well to his flamboyant personality. When he is done with the NXT Championship and moves onto SmackDown and RAW, do not be surprised to see him edge his way to the top of the leaderboard.

Matt Riddle has repeatedly proven that he has what it takes to stay in the main events. Riddle has positioned himself well by establishing an entertaining character and showing he can take on any opponent threatening him in the ring. Riddle’s character comes off as fun and entertaining, which will undoubtedly be part of his success as fans get behind him and his storyline.  Riddle ticks all the boxes needed for a superstar, he has the looks, wrestling talent and showmanship needed to rise to the top.

Montez Ford is currently paired up in a team with Angelo Dawkins, but when listening to the commentators as they keep hinting at signs of them splitting up and going their separate ways. It seems to be a trend within the organisation to create pairs just to split them up later. This might make for exciting TV, and who knows, there might be some other strategy behind it, but one thing that might be clear is that when  Ford does go solo, he stands a much better chance to climb the ladder to the top. Ford also definitely has what it takes; still young and charismatic, and athletic, he is hitting all the marks that make a WWE superstar. He always puts on a good show, and the fact that he is married to Bianca Belair, the RAW women’s champion, will count in his favour.

Last but not least is Josh Briggs; he might be considered the underdog here.

He might not have accomplished as much as the competition, but he has had considerably less time to do so. He was already churning up the crowd before singing up with NXT as the Evolve Champion, keeping the championship belt for eight months, and since then, he has only gotten better.

Combined with his young age and size, Briggs is on the fast and upcoming track and is definitely one to look out for.
