“I don’t know, we’ve kind of just hated each other for so many years,” KSI commented. “I think there are several reasons, but because I don’t really dwell on it until it’s time, I don’t know.
“I think it’s ego. It’s one where he thinks he’s better than me; I think he’s trash, and I know I would smoke Jake. But I need to show everyone what I know.

Before Paul’s winning contests with Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz and his losing bout with Tommy Fury, oddsmakers had placed KSI as a betting favorite.

Thus, despite having observed the initial fight invitation and being aware of the numerous discussions between the two parties, the potential ramifications of the recent intense dispute on the fight remain uncertain.
