Boxing vs wrestling stage, these are the best fights

There are several memories consistently created by matches in WrestleMania. With WWE, the audience has viewed the most exciting storylines at the event for many years. WrestleMania has attracted legends from outside the wrestling world to join the festivities. Organizations have booked short, entertaining fights that have made history.

In 1998, Mike Tyson assisted Stone Cold, Steve Austin, McMahon, and Shawn Michael in introducing the Attitude Era at WrestleMania XIV. After ten years, Vince McMahon and WWE took advantage of Floyd Maywether Jr box office draw. Wrestling is loved. On the other hand, boxing is featured on Justbet and other sportsbooks. The list below entails pivotal fights that took place on the Grandest Stage of them all, at WrestleMania.

Tyson Fury vs. Braun Strowman

It is another exciting match that reigned on the stage of WrestleMania. The audience viewed it as odd, but the results served them right—Strowman and Tyson debuted in the SmackDown episode of an eight-man tag team match. The heavy-weight boxer Tyson Fury sat on the front row to watch the short game until the monster among men threw Dolph Ziggler towards him. Tyson was agitated, and it was not long before he jumped the barrier to meet Strowman, but the security prevented the fight. Tyson Fury demanded an apology of which Snowman denied. The match was organized in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at Crown Jewel. Snowman had dominated the fight, but Tyson came back to prove himself. Fury is now the former unbeaten heavy-weight boxing champion and undefeated WWE Superstar after one match.

Floyd Mayweather vs. Big Show

The world boxing champion showed up at Wrestle Mania 24 in Orlando to face Big Show is one of the most spectacular matches ever. Mayweather accepted the clash with Big Show at the Citrus Bowl. The fight sprouted after the two collided at No Way Out. Floyd Mayweather and Big Show encountered in a No Disqualification Match. The unthinkable happened as Floyd won the match after landing multiple heavy chairs on BigShow’s head.  Jim Ross, who was the commentator, gave a memorable soundbite when he screamed that Mayweather had taken it to the streets. The world boxing champion finished off the heavy-weight wrestler with brass knuckles. Fans treasure the memory as the fight proved the boxer to be a masterful showman. The audience thought that Mayweather would only have one knock-out punch, but the match results exceeded expectations.

Neville & Amell vs. King Barrett and Stardust

The long-running feud between Neville and Stardust finally surpassed the boiling point. A bout was set officially two weeks before SummerSlam when Amell jumped the guardrail to clash with Stardust.  Although Triple H condemned Amell’s actions of pleading to have a match, WWE would not be held accountable for the outcomes in the ring.  Amell had the upper hand in entering SummerSlam. Stardust was confident he would take revenge against his nemesis. Stardust and Barret seemed to be the favorites from a storyline perspective as Amell lacked experience of the ring. The WWE audience expected the combination of the Green Arrow and the Red Arrow to win. During the Sunday SummerSlam clash, Neville was given a chance to win and shine.

Roman Reigns vs. Edge

During the fantastic main event at WWE Money in the Bank 2021, Roman Reigns defeated Edge to retain the Universal Championship. The tribal chief who owed a debt to Seth Rollins attacked Edge during the match and distracted the challenger. Roman Reigns took the advantage and delivered a mighty spear. The Usos had tried to influence the result in favor of their cousin earlier in the contest. However, their interference was fended off by Rey and Dominik Mysterio before Rollins appeared. WrestleMania marked the last time Roman Reigns and Edge clashed in a ring, but the fight was different as Daniel Bryan was involved posing a triple threat.

Floyd Mayweather Jr vs. Manny Pacquiao

The duo fought for the welterweight title known as the Battle for Greatness. It was among the highest-grossing PPV fights in history after breaking PPV revenue odds in the United States with $410 million. Mayweather was ahead during the first three rounds, but Pacquiao got his mojo back in the fourth round. Mayweather’s defense was too good for Pacquiao to balance. Although Mayweather won the fight through a unanimous decision, Pacquiao argued that he had won the match.

Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II

Deontay and Tyson had met before but that ended in a controversial draw. Their previous clash was termed as unfinished business. The second encounter was different from the first as the two giants seemed determined to win the match. However, Tyson dominated the game and knocked out Deontay two times before his corner threw in the towel. Tyson displayed an incredible performance that was praised over the years.

Boxing and wrestling are popular sports that draw the attention of many across the globe. The world has historic boxing and wrestling matches that grasped the adrenaline.
