Willow Nightingale suffers concussion at CMLL show

AEW star Willow Nightingale suffered a concussion on Friday during the CMLL show at Arena Mexico and has been pulled out of the other weekend shows she was supposed to be part of.

Nightingale missed last night’s show at Arena Coliseo and will not be featured in tonight’s Arena Mexico event as advertised after CMLL made the announcement following her injury.

CMLL said that in line with concussion protocols established by both CMLL and AEW, Nightingale must fully recover before stepping back in the ring. Last night, Zeuxis took her place while for tonight, Persephone will replace her.

The former TBS champion was part of Team World in the 20-woman elimination tag team match on Friday night.
