Wardlow returns to AEW after 17-month absence

Wardlow returned to AEW yesterday during the Forbidden Door pay-per-view and joined The Don Callis Family.

It was his first appearance on AEW television since March 2024, so it has been a 17-month absence for the former TNT champion.

Wardlow made his presence felt after Okada defeated Strickland to retain the AEW Unified title. He came in through the stands, jumped in the ring, and destroyed Prince Nana while Swerve looked on helplessly unable to move. Security tried to stop the carnage but Wardlow also attacked them.

When he had enough, Wardlow exited and embraced Don Callis, who was at ringside watching along with the rest of the Family. Takeshita did have a stare down with Wardlow, hinting at some dissension in the faction.

Wardlow recently participated in the American Gladiators filming which will relaunch on Amazon Prime Video soon.
