Two new champions crowned at Dynamite Title Tuesday

Two new champions were crowned at Dynamite Title Tuesday, with Orange Cassidy winning the AEW International title and Hikaru Shida winning the AEW Women’s title.

Rey Fenix was supposed to defend the AEW International title against Jon Moxley but Moxley remains unable to compete due to the concussion he suffered a few weeks ago. In his place came in former champion Orange Cassidy and with Fenix having his own fair share of injuries, the decision was taken to switch the title back to Cassidy.

Cassidy had a 326-day run as champion before losing it to Jon Moxley at All Out. Rey Fenix spent just 20 days as champion before dropping it yesterday.

Also, Saraya’s fairytale comeback with the AEW Women’s title ended quickly after just 44 days and one title defense.

Shida, now the only three-time AEW Women’s champion, had a short reign herself before losing the belt in a four-way match at All In in Wembley Stadium.
