Tony Khan unveils the ROH Women’s Pure championship

The ROH Women’s Pure title is being introduced to Ring of Honor and the inaugural champion will be crowned at the upcoming Supercard of Honor in May.

The news was revealed by AEW President Tony Khan, who showed off the title to the live crowd in Springfield yesterday prior to the ROH TV taping.

This is the third women’s title and the eighth overall for Ring of Honor and it joins the ROH Women’s and ROH Women’s TV titles.

The ROH Pure title matches have slightly different rules than regular wrestling matches.

Supercard of Honor will take place on Friday, May 2 at the Adrian Phillips Theater at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
