Toni Storm gets AEW Women’s title shot at Grand Slam: Australia

An All In rematch will be taking place at the Grand Slam: Australia show with Mariah May defending her AEW World title against her former friend and champion herself Toni Storm.

Storm won the first-ever women’s Casino Gauntlet match last night, pinning Julia Hart with a small package to earn the shot. She entered the match at #6.

The Kiwi-born star got rid of her “Timeless” gimmick when she returned in December following her loss to Mariah May in August at Wembley Stadium.

She has since been playing a character seemingly suffering from amnesia, forgetting that she was even part of the company before her Winter Is Coming return, with AEW announcers playing along with the “rookie!”
