The Opps lose AEW Trios titles, Powerhouse Hobbs’ profile removed from AEW page

The Opps lost their AEW Trios titles yesterday on the Maximum Carnage themed episode of Collision, marking the end of Powerhouse Hobbs in the company.

The match, against JetSpeed and “Hangman” Adam Page, headlined the broadcast and ended when Kevin Knight pinned the departing Hobbs for the title change.

Hobbs’ contract with AEW expired on January 15 and he opted not to sign a new one, with WWE his next destination. Unlike others who made it clear they are leaving when their contract expired and were taken off television for a while, Hobbs remained featured until the very last day, with the match even airing after his deal expired.

His profile has been swiftly removed from the AEW roster page following the broadcast.
