Steve Borden doing fine following knock out scare at All Out pay-per-view

Speaking on the What Happened When podcast, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone said that Steven Borden is doing fine following getting knocked out during the tag team match at the All Out pay-per-view.

Schiavone said he talked to Borden a couple of days ago on the phone and he had no headaches or dizziness, which are primary symptoms of concussions.

Borden will still have to get checked by AEW medical before re-entering the ring.

“He said, ‘Of all the years that I played football for the University of Kentucky, I never had a concussion, I never experienced anything like that,’” Schiavone continued.

He added that Borden was more upset that he thought he ruined the pay-per-view but was assured that everyone was happy that he was okay.

“So how long he’s going to be out? I don’t know. I’m sure there have to be some, they have to check on him before he can get back in there. It was very scary,” the long-time announcer said.

Borden was knocked out cold after he went for a coast-to-coast and violently slammed his head on the canvas upon landing.
