Stephanie Vaquer appears on Dynamite for a stare down with Mercedes Mone

The NJPW Strong Women’s champion Stephanie Vaquer appeared on Dynamite last night as the road to Forbidden Door starts.

The Chilean 31-year-old wrestles for the CMLL promotion in Mexico and came out after TBS champion Mercedes Mone successfully defended her title against Skye Blue.

Vaquer stayed at the top of the stage and lifted her title while Mone stayed in the ring and lifted her title, suggesting the two will go head-to-head on the pay-per-view.

The two have a history together already as Mone defeated Vaquer in the semi final of the tournament to crown the inaugural NJPW Strong Women’s champion last year in May.

She won the NJPW Strong Women’s title in March at Stardom’s 2024 Cindirella Tournament, defeating Giulia.
