Saraya will be lacing up her wrestling boots for a match for the first time in five years at Full Gear next week.
The former WWE NXT and Divas champion will be taking on Britt Baker after she was given the all clear to return to the ring. Saraya last wrestled in late December 2017 and had to go back on the sidelines due to another neck injury after she was on the receiving end of a kick to the back from Sasha Banks.
The match took place just two weeks after her return following neck surgery the year before.
On Dynamite last night, the match was made official after an emotional Saraya said she was cleared to wrestle, a statement which angered Baker.
“You left your house and walked into mine.. We don’t take walk-ins…so, bitch, make an appointment,” Baker replied.
Writing on social media, Saraya said, “Never thought I would see this day in my lifetime. Incredible night last night. Thank you so much for the love. It has been overwhelming. I’m a wrestler!”
