Former AEW Women’s champion Saraya has reportedly signed a new one-year deal with the company. The news was broken by Fightful Wrestling yesterday.

While Saraya had an optional year in her original deal, Fightful says that this is something different and runs until September 2025.

The British star has been working for AEW since September 2022, returning to the ring five years after getting medical clearance to resume her in-ring career.

Prior to joining AEW, Saraya was part of WWE until July 2022, working under the name Paige. WWE doctors never cleared her due to her neck injury and was sidelined for years, just collecting a paycheck as WWE had nothing for her.

Saraya will be wrestling Jaime Hayter in a Saraya’s Rules match tomorrow night on Collision: Grand Slam.
