Saraya not cleared to return to the ring yet

In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Saraya has not yet been cleared to wrestle and that is the reason she did not get physical with anyone during her debut on Wednesday.

The former WWE Divas champion shocked the wrestling world when she came out during Dynamite: Grand Slam to scare off the heels after they continued their attack on Toni Storm and Athena. Baker, Hayter, and Deeb all cleared the ring before Saraya told them that this was her house now.

Saraya is pushing to get cleared to return to active competition and signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling probably on the basis that she will eventually get cleared. Her WWE contract ran out on July 7 of this year and WWE let her go, with her last match for the promotion coming in December 2017.

Saraya was cleared to return to WWE in 2017 after a year out due to neck injuries but a kick from Sasha Banks at a non-televised live event just weeks after her return put her on the shelf permanently.
