Samoa Joe wins ROH TV title on Dynamite

Samoa Joe walked out of Dynamite as the new Ring of Honor TV champion last night after he defeated Minoru Suzuki in the main event of the show.

This was a rather short stint for Suzuki as champion as he only won it on April 1 at the ROH Supercard of Honor show in Garland, Texas during WrestleMania weekend, beating Rhett Titus. Suzuki has now lost two in a row in AEW after this past October he lost to Bryan Danielson in a match that aired on YouTube.

Joe never won the ROH TV title during his tenure with the indie promotion as the title was introduced after he left. Joe’s celebration on Dynamite was cut short though as Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt had a surprise for him, a surprise in the form of the giant Satnam Singh, the Indian former NBA draftee who was signed with AEW last year.
