Rob Van Dam makes surprise appearance on Dynamite 200

WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam made a surprise appearance during last night’s 200th episode of Dynamite and got himself a shot for the FTW title against Jack Perry.

Fellow ECW original Jerry Lynn told Perry in a continuation from last week’s angle that there’s no doctor who would clear him to take him on, but he knew someone who is cleared.

The song Walk by Pantera, RVD’s theme from his ECW days, kicked in and the fans went bananas as the former WWE and ECW champion walked out in front of the Tampa crowd.

After going face-to-face with Perry, Perry left the ring but then tried a sneak attack with a chair on the ECW legend but RVD thwarted that and Perry left again.

Later in the broadcast, RVD told Renee Paquette that he will take on Perry for the FTW title next week on Dynamite and after he wins it, he will retire the title once and for all.

RVD last appeared on TV during the WWE Draft episode a few months ago.
