Riho returns, gets TBS title match against Mercedes Mone at All Out

Japanese star Riho returned to AEW television last night on Dynamite following a 14-month absence.

The former AEW Women’s champion last wrestled in July 2024 and fractured her arm, disappearing from TV and returning home.

Riho confronted TBS champion Mercedes Mone after Mone continued to fight with Alex Windsor following their match. Mone had Windsor locked in the Mone Maker after the bell rang and Riho came out and hit a stomp from the top rope to break the hold.

As Mone recovered while sitting down, Riho ran the ropes and delivered a dropkick, sending Mone flying out of the ring.

A TBS title match between Mone and Riho was then announced for All Out, the first-time ever these two will meet in the ring.
