Returning Kris Statlander ends Jade Cargill’s undefeated streak and title run

Jade Cargill’s 508-day reign as TBS champion came to a big screeching halt last night at Double or Nothing as she suffered her first loss in AEW and lost the title to the returning Kris Statlander.

Cargill had just defeated Taya Valkyrie in her scheduled match on the pay-per-view but Mark Sterling then cut a promo saying that the undefeated Cargill would defend her title anywhere at any time against anyone.

Cue in Statlander’s music and in 48 seconds, Statlander ended Cargill’s streak after hitting a tombstone for the pinfall victory.

Cargill had 25 successful defenses of the AEW TBS title and 60 consecutive wins.

Statlander was last seen on AEW TV in August and was out for several months after she suffered a torn ACL.
