Punk vs Starks in Owen Hart Cup tournament final next week

The men’s final of the Owen Hart Cup tournament has been decided with CM Punk taking on Ricky Starks on next week’s Collision live from Calgary.

Punk overcame old ROH rival Samoa Joe in the semi final match last night and Starks beat Powerhouse Hobbs to advance.

It wasn’t a good night for Hobbs as QT Marshall tried to help but that distracted him enough for Starks to take advantage and win. After their match, Hobbs had enough and pushed Marshall away and laid out Aaron Solo.

Meanwhile, Punk tried to shake hands with Samoa Joe following their match and Joe first accepted the gesture but then turned it into the Coquina Clutch. Thankfully for Punk, FTR were close by and came out to save the day. This was the first time that Punk beat Joe in a one-on-one match.
