Omega gets his AEW World title shot on December 2 Dynamite

AEW will not be waiting for the next pay-per-view to give fans Moxley vs Omega II as the promotion announced yesterday that the match for the AEW World title will take place on the December 2 episode of Dynamite.

Giving away huge matches on free television is a practice long done by all major companies in professional wrestling and is usually done to pop a rating. AEW is billing this match as the biggest one in Dynamite history.

Omega won the AEW World Title Eliminator tournament to earn his shot at Moxley, who successfully defended the title against Eddie Kingston at Full Gear.

Moxley and Omega wrestled a year ago at Full Gear 2019 in a brutal 40-minute lights out match which Moxley won.
