AEW introduced a new match concept titled Clockwork Carnage and this match will be the main event of WrestleDream on October 17 for the AEW World title.

The match will feature a total of eight wrestlers over two stages.

Two wrestlers start the match selected at random and every three minutes, another randomly selected wrestlers enters the match until all eight are in the ring.

Any wrestler who is pinned or submitted is eliminated once the final wrestlers enters, while all remaining wrestlers enter a 15-minute scoring period.

During those 15 minutes, every pinfall or submission scores a fall, or a point, and when time expires, the wrestler with the most falls/points wins the match and is crowned the AEW World champion.
