It’s a big night for AEW tonight, with a major AEW World title match headlining the Beach Break episode of Dynamite.
What makes the title match even bigger is the stipulation that goes along with it. For MJF, his AEW World title is on the line. For Kenny Omega, his challenger, if he doesn’t win, he can never challenge for the title ever again.
It’s a stipulation that has been used before in AEW. Cody Rhodes did it, and lost. “Hangman” Adam Page did it, and lost as well. For Page, it was MJF who beat him and tonight, the charismatic young champ can also send Omega packing.
After tonight’s result, the main event for All In at Wembley Stadium will become clear. Rumors are that it will be indeed Omega facing Will Ospreay for the title at London’s Wembley Stadium and if that’s the case, that means that MJF will drop the title again, this time just after 45 days, barely outlasting Darby Allin’s reign of 39 days.
