Mercedes Mone and Will Ospreay win the Owen Hart Cup 2026 tournaments

The two Owen Hart Cup tournament winners were crowned last night at Forbidden Door.

First one to win the tournament was Mercedes Mone, who is now the only two-time winner of the tournament following last year’s victory as well.

Mone defeated Maya World in the final match, with Mone locking in the Statement Maker for the win.

What’s interesting is that neither of these two women were originally in the tournament! Mone now gets herself an AEW Women’s title shot at All In, a title which has eluded her ever since she came to AEW.

Later in the main event, Will Ospreay won the men’s tournament after one hell of a violent match against Swerve Strickland.

Both sporting crimson masks and pools of blood in the ring, the Brit eliminated his opponent following a Death Rider, a Paradigm Shift, and a Tiger Driver.

Ospreay now gets to main event All In in London as he takes on whoever the AEW World champion might be at that time.
